Sharon-April 12, 2012..My experience has been wonderful. I have my dog, a cocker spaniel, and 6 cats at this hospital. Dr. Cheryl is very knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate vet. The staff is caring and friendly. My dog is presently going through a serious illness. I would have no one else taking care of her! I highly recommend and have recommended Dr. Cheryl and her staff! Over the years I have had my pets at many vets, I have now found my forever vet. LOVE THEM!!

We are a newly opened full service veterinary hospital. Dr Cheryl Haywood VMD and her friendly staff are ready to provide quality care for your dogs, cats or other small mammals [pocket pets]. We are convienently located at the corner of Myoma Rd and Mars-Evans City Rd [access is off of Myoma Rd]. We are near to the Mars, Seven Fields, Cranberry and Evans City areas, but away from the congestion found in some of those places. We are looking forward to providing the kind of care you expect for your pet[s]. Stop by and meet us, so we can earn your excellent rating and become "Your Other Family Doctor".

We had two very serious problems with this vet. First of all, last year, one of our cats was diagnosed as having a minor skin irritation when, in fact, he had fibrosarcoma and eventually died despite our having surgery and radiation therapy done for him. At least a month was wasted, believing that the growth under his nose was a minor skin problem as opposed to cancer. We'll never know if that wasted time cost him his life. Then, a few months later, another kitty's biopsy was botched (bad sample taken) and his xray misread forcing us to seek more expert care for our boy elsewhere. If your animals' needs are routine (annual shots, minor problems) this vet is fine. If the animals have more serious issues I would definitely go elsewhere.

...had our cat spayed and declawed - they missed a claw! How does that happen? I can't say they are unfriendly, but we've decided to try another vet.
