I was looking for a less expensive alternative to my vet for having my puppy spayed. The price at the NBVC seemed very reasonable so I thought I would check it out. I walk in to a receptionist/tech who did not even acknowledge my puppy. ( would that be the care she received during her surgery ) Than taken to a back room which smelled , of I am assuming mold from a leak in the building. Than the Dr. comes in and just assumes that she has not had a bordatella vaccine, and was just going to administer one with out even calling my vet to check ! Upon leaving I was informed that if I did not schedule her appt. it would be a $50 fee for listening to her heart beat. Also after receiving the quote on the phone , they never mentioned that they charge everything separate, so the pain pills, blood work, were all extra basically adding up to what my regular vet was anyway. So for peace of mind I am staying with my regular vet as it does not seem they care very much for animals in that office ! I would never recommend this place for surgery or even a basic check up. I went to the best vet that would treat my dog with love and compassion that they need during this time.

When you are here, you receive very special treatment. The receptionist is warm and the veterinarian is both experienced and very loving towards animals. She took her time with my pet and made sure all of my questions were fully answered before we left. I am thrilled to have moved into the area and found a vet this good.
