Making decisions for your pet when they need specialized care is difficult. I felt the vets and staff gave me very clear information so I could make an informed decision. They treated my dog with the best care and the results so far are great. My dog suffered a ruptured disk and needed surgery. She sailed through the surgery and is now pain free and healing well. I had to travel to Metropolitan Veterinary for my dog for a neurological issue. I made my appointment and was pleased with the receptionist. She gave me a lot of info about possible costs and what I was responsible for the day of the appointment. The kindness and personal attention in the waiting area was like nothing I have seen before in a vet's office. The staff was incredibly helpful and there was a woman working in the waiting area to make sure all the people and their animals were cared for. The doctor saw us and gave us as much time as needed. He listened and observed our dog before giving us his thoughts. He was not after our money; he was genuinely concerned for the well being of our animal. I thought we were definitley paying over $1000 that day but was pleasantly surprised when he decided an MRI was unnecessary and we left with only an office visit fee. This place cares about the animals rather than the dollar and I greatly appreciated every detail of our visit. Thank you for great service!

rarely is a facility as well organized, accommodating and caring as yours. the nurses and staff are top notch. i cannot say enough about dr schwab who went above and beyond for our dog dave coming in on his off days to check on him. thank you.

We brought our dog Judge to Metropolitan for TPLO Surgery for his torn ACL. I can't express how wonderful the staff is here - the receptionists are warm, friendly and informative both on the phone and in person. Dr. Niles, the veterinarians and nurses all cared for Judge as if he were their own and they all were patient with my husband and I to be sure that we fully understood the process and care for our dog. I can't thank everyone at Metro enough for what they do!

Dr DiBiasio and his staff are FANTASTIC!!! They all took very good care of my baby (kitty) and kept me inform all throughout the way of her overnight stay and what was being done. Being 2 1/2 hours away was hard with the drive...but they accommodated us so that they could do the needed tests the very next day after our scheduled appointment - so cat did not have double "trip trauma". (Cats are not happy car passengers). Results of test came back when they indicated they would...and the result was a doctor thought it would be. Thankfully...medication could rectify the problem. My baby is doing great!! I would highly recommend MVA to anyone/everyone after our experience!!
