Dr. Ronis is an excellent vet! she is very kind and gentle with my furbabies. She is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her if you need a vet for your baby. Her prices are very reasonable and she is a very honest and caring person.
My dog Mickey probably like most is my baby & so so damn upset right now I am doing this for a FIRST time!! Truthfully, only went because I heard its very reasonable. Just about had enough money for this place PLUS I do not drive and give someone few bucks to get me & dog there. Went on 3-6-14 because he was having ear problem & she ARLENE (vet) cleaned & medicine for $58.00. OK, next trip 5-1-14 for EXACTLY the same $75,00. Just like a kid I did NOT like seeing him in pain. Next trip, he was to have left ear FLUSHED & I quote her!!!! this was 5-29-14 dropped him off as directed at 9a.m. Went back as told 12:30 & WHOEVER the hell this blonde was was SOOOOOOOOO RUDE to me saying he did not need it flushed. This is $203.00 for the same 3 times. MY Mickey was FREAKED, shaking, and scared as hell. Can not tell you how pissed I am. He (dog ) is sit not the same with SAME FRIGGING EAR PROBLEM & IM NOT done with this blonde either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Arlene(VET) heard the trouble & ran to back room. MY dog is done there but IM NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so I am normally not the one to make these type of comments but I just want to let everyone know DO NOT ever go to Noah's Ark Animal Hospital in the NE on Frankford Ave. I went to this vet for quite a few years and never had any problems. I referred people to them and know others as well as myself who have pets who have had procedures done here with no problems. I stopped going here a couple of years ago when they treated my cat who had lymphoma and it was back and forth and they had no clue what was wrong with her after surgery, blood work, diff meds and tests. I had a second opinion at university of penn and she had lymphoma....her whole insides was covered in tumors and this lady couldn't find any when she did surgery. So after that I switched vets. My new vet wanted way too much money to have my two dogs fixed so I figured I would just go to Noah's Ark...spaying and neutering a dog is a pretty routine surgery that most pets have at some point, no big deal. On Sat I dropped of my 2 dogs in the morning and picked them up at 1pm and took them home...at 2pm my puppy started bleeding out on my sofa, sitting in a puddle of blood. My husband rushed him back to Noahs thinking he might have busted his stitches, they told him to come back at 3 for him. I went back at 3pm to get him and the vet came out and told me she was having a hard time, his stitches didn't break, she didn't know where the bleeding was coming from. She said they put him under and seen something bleeding and sutured it and when he started to wake up he started bleeding again so she sedated him a 3rd time and opened him up and couldn't find where he was bleeding from so she wrapped his back side up and was trying to warm him up. My dog was laying on the table almost lifeless and they are telling me they don't know why he's bleeding and then her assistant goes on to ask me if I was worried before I dropped him off and I said yea a little, she then tells me that me worrying and all that bad energy can make bad things happen and basically is blaming my "bad energy" because they don't know what they were doing. So basically they had me take him home and if he were to bleed through the bandage take him to the 24hr er vet. They even told me the vet wanted to give him a blood transfusion from her dog but her dog was sick so they couldn't which I think was weird they would even do that even if he wasn't sick. So I took my dog home and I go to let my other dog out who I had spayed and pick her up and she had blood come out of her incision wound dripping all down my side. I called the 24 hour vet and they said that neither of their symptoms are normal. I took my puppy who was neutered to the emergency vet and they did blood work and it was all normal so my dog wasn't the problem(clotting disorders, etc) They took his bandage off and said that the sutures possibly weren't tight enough and one slipped and basically said it was the vets fault. I was told to watch my other dog who was spayed and make sure she didn't swell anymore or bleed. These surgeries should have been a lot different and this lady is a butcher and if you care about your pets you will never use this woman as your vet!!! My dog almost bled to death and I am very lucky he is getting better, he still isn't out of the woods yet but he is improving as is my other pup, but someone else may not be so lucky!!!!!
My dog had bladder stones and needed a surgery. We called few clinics and decided to do it an Noah's Ark. Surgery went just fine. So i would highly recommend doctor Arlene and i think she is great. Their office is not all that high tech and fancy but people are great and i would definitely go to them again. When you deal with them you get them feeling they really want to help, not just to get your money as most clinics do...
JOJO FIORELLA I TO WENT TO THIS PLACE AND ALL I CAN SAY IS STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH THIS PLACE AND WILL NEVER NEVER RETURN THERE. IF I HAD A WISH IT WOULD BE THAT THE PLACE EITHER GOES OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE OR IT BURNS TO THE GROUND. IF U LOVE YOUR ANIMAL STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THEM YOUR ANIMAL WILL NEVER COME BACK TO YOU THE WAY HE WENT IN. THEY SUCK, SUCK, SUCK, SUCK/ STAY AWAY AND GO ANY PLACE BUT THESE PEOPLE. AMEN
