I've only had a half dozen or so visits over the years, but the staff and doctors have always been very nice, knowledgeable, and caring! It's a small practice with a waiting room that can only comfortably hold about a half dozenish owners with pets, but I never had to wait long, and the small grouping made friendliness and communication easier among those who were there. Highly recommended!

Annie is friendly. Pete, I found to grow on me while Little John was patient with me. He filled out a journal for me to keep for my pet's medical records. I'm a first time owner concerned about the dental health of my recently adopted cat. I saw a friend have to pay $300 for dental care for her older cat so I'm trying to be on top of everything despite the fact that Salem is a bit of a biter. I set my appointment for yesterday at 12:30. I was there 12:20 -filled out some intake information . . . I wasn't seen until well past my appointment. It's understandable since it has a small staff and they dedicate as much time as necessary to each pet which is something I appreciate. Littlejohn took his time with me -explaining to me how to properly care for my cat. Want affordable and sensible? This is the place. It doesn't look gorgeous, but it's about the care and that's why I gave such a high rating. Also, I am glad to see that they also use an electronic scale -I read horror stories on yelp for some reason.

THIS MAN IS A BUTCHER THE STAFF IS HORRIBLE THE WILL MAN HANDLE YOU ANIMAL SPECIFICALLY MY CAT THEY WILL TRY TO CREATE PROBLEMS TO TRUMP UP PRICES WILL LEAVE YOU IN A DIRTY ROOM HAS A HORRIBLE SMELL TO THE OFFICE AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR ANIMAL .GIVING CAT A SHOT THAT ONLY TAKES ONE POKE WILL PULL OUT AND INJECT MORE THAN ONCE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE I WILL . I WONT EVEN GIVE ONE STAR BUT I HAVE TO POST THIS

This place is great. The doctor is great, staff great, whole experience is great. Nobody is excessively friendly in that now ubiquitous phony, obsequious way, but they are pleasant and intelligent and helpful. Dr. Littlejohn diagnoses quickly, and well, treats as minimally as possible, does perfect primary care for pets in that he doesn't order a lot of tests and unnecessary stuff. When we asked him, "When should we bring them back?", he said something to the effect of, "If they get sick, bring them back. Otherwise don't." He seemed genuinely caring and kind. He has a great way with our cats, both which can be mean and nasty in vet office. He calls us personally with test results, and he called personally as well recently when there was a snowstorm and much of the city closed, just last week. I completely think this place is wonderful and recommend it with all my heart.

Dr. Littlejohn and team of Pete and Annie offer terrific, compassionate care. Littlejohn is a great diagnostician and is realistic in working with you to offer the best care that you and he can manage for your pet. We've taken our dog and cats there for 25 years with great results. The building is a older, even a little shabby, but that does not limit the great care. Highly recommended.
