Both the Staff at VCA Metvet West and South we consider as family. Dr. P and Dr. Bunner are true angels. We have adopted many sick dogs in the last 10 years, and have always used their services. Our dogs have been welcomed by the Doctors and Staff at Met Vet Hospitals as their own, and given the highest level of treatment from the beginning of their lives to their very last breath.

This is the worst Vet on the world. I had my baby Angel there several times for skin infection to sore leg to and ear infection. After spending 1000.00 dollars over a 2 month period I had to put her down at Castle Shannon Animal Hospital. Why because she had cancer! Yes aggressive cancer Hemangiosarcoma that took her life on September 22, 2014. How do you not know that she had cancer after you completed blood tests a month before. You people do not know what the hell you are doing! By the way the skin infection you treated her for was all part of the cancer she had! How the hell did you not know that - antibiotics and steroids yea worked real good. I will never ever go back to your facility! I will make it my life's work to tell everyone how horrible your vets are how a trained monkey could have been able to tell us she had cancer! A ruptured tumor on her liver and several tumors in her abdomen internal bleeding and a sad good bye without much time is what you done to me my family and my baby girl! You suck and so does your service! Cancer- how do you miss that!

Not a better group on earth. Very kind, considerate and compassionate. They took care of our beloved family pet for 13 years and when it was his time they were just as upset as I was. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Absolutely love this office! Took my sick puppy over Christmas Holiday and Dr. Au kept in touch with me over the whole holiday and answered emails during this time too. Have never had such a caring vet. All of the staff are so friendly and my puppies actually love going to the vet! Changed over to this practice instead of the one I've been using for 20+ years!

This review is for the Met Vet location on McNeilly Road. Our cat required emergency surgery to repair an injured tail that was caught in a door hinge. The staff was very friendly and informative, and I feel that the treatment we received was excellent. It is worth noting, though, that the initial visits were pricey. We paid a $100 fee up front, just for the emergency visit, and that was before adding another $100 for bandaging, elizabethan collar, etc. Our cat required a partial amputation of his tail the following day. The surgery cost around $500 when all was considered. We were relieved to find out, after the initial surgical expenses, though, that all of the follow-up visits were free. All in all, we felt like our pet was well taken-care of, though, and that's the most important detail. The staff answered all of our questions thoroughly and patiently, and we never had to spend a long time in the waiting area before being seen.
