I recently inherited a cat. I woke up yesterday to find it barely alive. Big Easy was recommended since they have walk in hours. I showed up and before I could even finish the paperwork the vet had the cat on IV fluids and was asking me questions in-order to best try and save the cats life. She took the time to in detail explain each cost and possible outcomes. I was warned, before spending money on testing, that even with the best care the cat may not make it threw the night. They let me sit in the back with the cat and checked in on her often. I was told the best chance for the cat was an all night vet but it would be very expensive and she likely wouldn't live. I chose to take the cat home. The vet stayed with me several hours after they closed to make sure the cat had enough fluids. The cat died shortly after I got her home but I knew she was not in pain because they explained if she died how it would happen and how she would feel. I grew up on a farm and have had lots of animals. I have NEVER BEEN MORE PLEASED with how a vet treated both the patient and myself. The entire staff is patient, informative, and honest. I very highly recommend them.

Recently visited with my cat and young son. The staff was extremely attentive to my pet but also provided my son with animal vookies which kept him entertained during our wait. I love that this is a walk in clinic as all the other clinics in the area either didnt answer my phone call or didnt have a time slot. The prices were super reasonable and when I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home in haste to get iut the door, the staff was very kind and empathetic to my plight, allowing me to run home quickly without making a big deal. Absolutely wonderful experience and will be using this clinic fron now on.

When my schnauzer mix was attacked by two bigger dogs, our vet sent us here. We called ahead and they met us outside with a gurney. They were reasonable about the billing, and understood I was short on funds until my pet insurance reimbursed me. They took wonderful care of my dog, and of us. They have remained in touch via call and text, checking up on my angel and his neatly stitched-up neck. They were fast and thorough. I am glad to say that my dog is healing quickly, and is already back to being his stubborn, albeit battle-weary, self. I think I fell in love with them completely when they presented me with neatly typed itemized lists of expenses... making filing the claim SO much easier.

The BEST vets in Pittsburgh! The entire staff is just awesome, we take our 3 cats to them and they treat them as if they were theirs. Each time we are there, the staff has been knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. I wouldn't take my "kids" anyplace else. After each visit the staff is kind enough to call and check up on how things are going. Dr. Ruiz and Dr. Lavery have impressed us greatly, as have the vet techs and front desk staff. Each makes us feel welcome and heard. We have never had to wait long and have always been able to call unexpectedly with questions and concerns. You won't be able to find more caring and professional care for your animals.
