Google User; I notice you cowardly hide behind a keyboard and no real name to post your comments about Dr. Hassinger's place. My name is Mary Anne Whitonis and I do not work and have never worked for Dr. Hassinger or this hospital. Dr. Hassinger did my late dog Jack's CCL and than lovingly looked in on him in the emergency section of the hospital at another hospital where he had been doing surgeries. He removed a tumor from my very old cat Nikki and gave her an extra year of life. He did the CCL on my Betty Girl on both of her legs. He removed a cyst from my dog's eye, Fred, and Fred was also observed for seizure problems in the hospital. Fred had come from Michael Vick's and was very traumatized by being confined and he did everything to accommodate all of my dog's because I rescue them and keep the worst, because people don't want dogs with major problems/issues. I see the heart specialist Dr. Goodwin, who comes in once a week at Northeast/Dr. Hassinger's place, for my dog Barney who has a leaky heart valve. Dr. Goodwin is a diplomat, the highest ranking of a physician!!! Dr. Hassinger also checked my Wilma because she had alternating leg lameness due to lyme disease and she is terrified and shell-shocked from abuse and he did everything to tenderly address her health issues while taking into account her extreme abusive history. We are lucky to have an Ivy League educated and trained surgeon such as Dr. Hassinger in this area. It is less stressful for the animal rather than taking them on a long 2-3 hour trip out of the area to U of P in Philadelphia or to Cornell in NY. I completely recommend Dr. Hassinger with the utmost of confidence and trust to everyone!

Awful place. The vet I saw, come to find out, only holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science which may explain why she had literally zero answers for what was wrong with my pet. A few hundred dollars later and I left this place with no more information than I came in with. Google was more helpful with my dog's issue than this place and much cheaper as well. This seems to me like a place where kids fresh out of veterinary school get a job so they can gain experience--but when I have an emergency I want a vet who has ample experience in the field to treat my furry family members.

Dr Clarke is wonderful. Nothing but care and kindness all the way. Thank you for taking care of our Creep the cat.

Was referred here by my vets office in Lewisburg to do a surgery to repair our two year old cats broken Hip. They are not cheap but they do include EVERYTHING upfront in their quote for care costs. They actually came in UNDER budget, our cat received great care and was back to normal function in a few short days. Dr. Hassinger did an excellent job, he and his staff were friendly and they explained things well. I would recommend them to anyone. Full disclosure: I do NOT work there or personally know anyone who does. This is an honest review of my experience with them starting in September 2014 thru October 2014, so I experienced them in four visits from Consultation thru Post Operative Check-Up/Staple Removal.
