about 1 year ago i took my cat to the wilkes barre animal hosptial for care from a bite wound.my cat was in the hosptial for 5 days because the vet went out of the country. my cat came home and his leg went numb,i took him back to dr. kathio he said i needed 800.00 dollars to test the cat.i had just given him 500.00 two weeks eailer,i was out of money,he gave me a bottle of anti biotics and said bring him back monday if he lives.i was upset...left the office,while driving the cat was screaming so bad i stopped at the plains animal hosptial.dr aires saved my cat he said the cat did have cardiomyopathy but 800.00 was not the price.i was able to give them 100.00 that day and make payment plan even with bad credit.my cat lived for 9 more months and was comfortable thanks to real caring vet.unlike the gready uncaring vet dr.kathio. i am disgusted with him and will tell as many people as i can i even thought about contacting the news paper about this mess. dr. kathio is in the paper all the time and i think it is not true that he really cares. if he cared he would not have done what he did to my cat for money i now go to plains animal hosptial and they care for my three inside cats and we are working on helping the strays that live im my yard.dr. kathio is not a good careing man he seems to me as a greedy man who uses animals and sees them as cash not as a life................................................
