We recently took in an abandoned cat in our home knowing that he was friendly. He was a neighbors inside cat, and knowing him over the years, we had to take him in. We decided to have him checked out at this clinic knowing that he had some progressing issues. He's about 9 or 10yrs, so we know the kind of probs he could have. Anyways, we brought him in, had what we thought was a full exam done, and that was it. He was somewhat diagnosed, given medicine, and then we were on our way. I paid the bill, scheduled the next appt, and left. Due to the fact that he was sedated for the exam, I was not able to see him once he was in the crate. I let him be. After the fact, I noticed that his ears was full of black s**t, and cleaned it out. I decided to call the next day, but the vet was not there. I was told he would return on Sat from 8a-12p. After getting out of work myself, I called back at around 1130a, and he was gone for the day. I was not too too happy about that, but it was what it was. We soon got a call back from a woman, whom I assume is their secretary. She told me that she contacted the doctor and confirmed that it wasnt mites, but that he cant remember doing an exam on his ears. She proceeded to say that my cat (Simon), had so many issues that he cant remember. He cant remember? He just saw him!! I was told he was too focused on his underlying problem. Regardless, he was brought in for an exam, and his ears were not examined. I was then asked to clean the air and bring in the black unknown substance. Umm, hello? dont you think I already cleaned it out? Regardless, she told me that I was not being fair!! In a nutshell, I dished out over $100 to them to look at my cat, and a proper exam was NOT done.. Oh and lets not forget the fact that the good ol' doc made me look like an a**hole bc I brought in an abandoned cat w/o knowing its history. If I could give this place a rating of a negative, I would, so dont let the 1 star fool you. I would advise to never bring your animal here, esp if you are looking for someone to take the time to do the proper procedure. You dont want a vet to not remember what he did the day before. If you love your animal, bring them somewhere else!!!!!! These people are disgusting!!!

Thankfully this week, Dr. Brewer received 2 very gracious thank you notes and a huge gift basket from 3 long time clients!
