Don't be in a rush because when you show up expect to repeat why you are there many times while the officer workers fail abysmally at multitasking. They will wander off mid-sentence, go to the printer, look at some paperwork, take a phone call, talk to each other about how they are all feeling that day or stop getting your paperwork in order to take a payment from someone else. The office staff is disorganized to say the least. If you have an emergency bring a friend and have your platinum card ready because the staff won't move any faster if your pet is bleeding out in your arms. This is a high dollar, for profit emergency clinic. The office managers are trained to turn away those with no money and do it in a heartless way. The vets are all good but you have to get past the red tape at the front before you will enjoy any experience with a vet. Some of the vets run your bill up, some help save money by not pushing extra tests you don't need but it's hit or miss with the vets, you get who is there. If you want that personal experience, find a small private practice and use this place for emergencies. They get no stars for customer service they get one because Google makes you give one.

VERY rude and only interested in money.. not the welfare of your pet. I had called them a few days earlier to ask about a vaccination fee and they were very blunt and not friendly on the phone amd when I said ok they just hung up.. so then I went in to ask about my puppies shots.. I waited at the counter while two girls were talking to each other and never even look at me. Finally one of them turned and looked at me like "what do you want?" I asked them what kind of shots my puppy needed and if they were available to purchase and administer myself.. they looked at me and laughed and said "we wont sell them to you". I told them that I wasnt asking them to sell me the vaccine I just wanted information about it and they said if I wasnt going to pay them, they wouldnt tell me anything and I had to take a chance and try and figure it out by myself and hope my puppy didnt get the wrong thing and die. I said "umm.. ok.. thats odd." And she said very rudely and impatiently "No its not.. the whole reason you go to a vet is to pay them to do it. Not give you information." So then I tried to ask about deworming and they said "It depends" and wouldnt give me any more info on that either so I just left. Wont be taking any of my pets there.

I will agree with some of the other reviewers that Magnolia is a bit pricey but if you have an emergency, they are open 24/7 which is awesome! My dog had bladder stones that required them to be removed as an emergency procedure and the staff was knowledgeable and professional. My dog tolerated the procedure just fine and is fine to this day. I agree having to pay for some of the charges up front comes across as a bit rude, but given how many people skip out on their bill, I guess I can understand.

My dog had been sick with vomiting and diarrhea for a few days and our regular vet is located in NC. I took him to Magnolia because our regular vet was a pretty good drive away and wouldn't be open for the weekend. After seeing my dog, they gave him an anti nausea shot (which was incredibly painful for him) and a tube of medicine for diarrhea. He's not vomiting anymore but he's still sick (it's been almost 4 days now); so after $150 he's still got something going on and I have no answers..The staff were polite enough but I think our regular vet's office is more patient and my dog has never been afraid of him or had to be muzzled in their office. We'll just commute to our regular vet from now on.

The staff were all friendly to me and loving on my dog, Dani. Both doctors that examined and operated on my dog were friendly and knowledgeable. Dani's surgery went great and her teeth were cleaned at the same time. Best part was it cost less than I expected.
