The vets are always very personable and great to deal with. The people that work the desks are not. They refused to honor a 10% discount ($50 value) given to me by the vet if we had surgery to remove a lump done within 30 days of the yearly visit. We had the surgery done 1 week after the yearly visit but forgot to give them the coupon from the vet. I talked to the lady at the desk who was rude and then the office manager called me and was equally rude. Even though they can see that the date of the yearly visit and the date of the surgery are well within the 30 days, they refuse to honor the 10% discount because we didn't provide the piece of paper. This is not a grocery store. This is a business that is supposed to thrive off of great service and care of animals. I am still surprised that they would rather lose my business than honor a discount. Really poor customer service. We won't be back. And I'll be sharing this story with friends and co-workers in Blythewood.
Sitting at Vet with Precious waiting to see Dr. Hope her cancer has not returned. She just turned 16 in human years which equates to 112 years in cat life.
We started going to BAH, after learning they were the only vet to do ear cropping. They explained the entire surgery to us and the pros and cons of having the crop done. We were ready to spend the money and that was the last of their concern. They wanted us to understand everything. As far as the service when pets are sick, I have had no problem. My dobie had an injury I called in the morning and we were seen an hour later. They have taken care of our big dogs for almost a year now an I am happy with all the services they provide. We have several vets closer but I know the drive is worth the wonderful care and great customer service.
I have been trying to contact these doctors for three days now and have not been able to get them to call me back. Dr. Branson authorized some medicine for my dog, but I need to ask some questions about her particular illness. I was told by Nancy who works at the front desk when I asked if Dr. Branson could call me back to answer my questions that she would not be able to call me back during the day that it would probably that evening. When I went by to pick up the medicine, I was assured that Dr. Branson would call me back and she never did. Now, I am getting ready to call for the 3rd day in a row to try and get my questions answered. I think I will be shopping for a new vet clinic...to someone who cares about the animals. So, I agree with one of the other reviews about poor service.
Dr. Branson and Dr. Roof are amazing veterinarians! I have been taking my Alaskan Malamute to them for the past 5 years, since I moved to the area. Just recently I had a concern about my dog and called there office... I called four days in a row trying to talk to one of there veterinarians. An was finally told that I could bring him up there at 9:30am to a quarter til 10am on Saturday and write his name down on a waiting list and wait to see if he could be seen when they opened up at 10am-12pm. I finally got him seen and got the meds that he needed, but I really wish there service was a lot better! I would recommend these veterinarians to anyone who doesn't mind waiting and having to take there pet up there every time they have a REAL concern. I wouldn't recommend if you would like to talk to a veterinarian or if your looking for a clinic with great service.
