My poor pup was sick on USC Home Game, of all days! I took her to this clinic and the staff was extremely professional and helpful. The wait was not to long to see a vet and they quickly diagnosed her and got me some medicine. They even put college football on in the lobby to watch while they were checking out my dog. The price was reasonable for a 24 hour clinic. A week after I took my dog in the friendly staff followed up with me to check on my pup. I would highly recommend taking your pet here in the event of an emergency or for any other reason. They are open 24/7/365
Dr Goldman is a gift. Yes it is expensive but when the chips are down, you do what you have to. Service has been extraordinary. My 3 year old cat had gotten a death sentency from my vet. Dr Goldman saved his life and he is thriving now. He has gone from 4.5 pounds to 9.5 in less than a year. I am not wealthy but have learned that you get what you pay for. A huge thank you to all who have helped me with Wolffie.
I cannot even bring myself to give this place a star. The customer service is truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had. My foster dog was admitted to this hospital on a Thursday night with a 105 temperature, and it took them an HOUR to see him, even though veterinary records were faxed an hour ahead of time, and our attending vet called them to let them know he was coming. He was lethargic, emaciated, and unstable. I've been to this place 4 times in the last 3 days. EVERY SINGLE PERSON at the front desk says hello then does nothing but gossip and chit chat while you wait. The past 3 times I've gone to visit I've called an hour ahead of time to make sure he is not undergoing any tests. Each time they say he can be visited, and each time I wait at least an hour to see him. Dr. Kelly and Dr. Haviland were very caring and did talk through his treatment and what steps they could take to help our foster dog improve. That I truly appreciate. However, every front desk person either needs extensive courses in customer service or they need to be fired. This facility is run horribly, and I will never take another pet there ever again.
We are in the process of adopting a pitbull mix dog, on the second night of him being with us he woke us up at about 4:00am crying, whining, scratching his ears, and looked like he was having a seizure. We panicked and immediately went online to find the nearest emergency vet. We called before we brought our baby in, and the woman who answered the phone wasn't very helpful. She pretty much just said to bring him in. We loaded up our pup and headed over. We were the only ones there, and it did take a little while to get the paperwork done, but by then our dog had calmed down a bit. Dr. Kolb was unbelievable, she went through everything with us in great detail and was very helpful. When it came time to make a payment we ran into a bit of trouble. This is an expensive facility, However, the animals receive great care. I have an existing carecredit account but did not have a card for it. The receptionists were very patient with us, and explained our options (because it was 6:30am and customer service for carecredit doesn't open until 8). We made a partial payment and once I spoke with customer service I called back to pay the remainder. They worked with me throughout the day to make sure we had all the medication our baby needed and he is feeling much better already. I highly recommend this place, and although I hope I never have to bring him back there in an emergency situation, I would not hesitate to return here. Thank you for helping our puppy!
Earlier this year, my cat suddenly had some sort of attack. I didn't know what was wrong with him and my husband was trying to figure out what was wrong. I called this vet in a panic asking for advice and how to do CPR. They assumed he was choking and gave me instructions on CPR, which I called out to my husband. The person I spoke with did not seem to care at all and said everything in a very nonchalant manner, while I was panicked and desperate for advice on how to save him. I hung up on her when she said he probably couldn't feel anything at that point anyway. Who says such a thing? My cat passed away in my husband's arms, and after about an hour of trying to get ourselves together, he called this vet to ask about cremation services etc. We took our beloved cat to them shortly afterward, where he would be picked up the next day by a cremation service. We were both shaky and had been crying a lot. However, we were greeted with zero sympathy, only asked as we walked in "Is that the one who was choking?" We were directed to a back room and told they could take him then or wait a bit. Then we were given some brochures and they took him away and we were guided to the front counter (all by the same staff member) where we paid the fee. She displayed absolutely NO sensitivity or sympathy for our situation. As we were walking out and she was talking to another customer, she called out "sorry" to us, as if it was an afterthought. I will NEVER take my pets here again EVER. Is it too much to ask for a little compassion? And after a little investigation, we found out he was NOT choking (as I told the woman) but it seemed he had suffered an attack from cardiomyopathy, which is nearly impossible to prevent or treat. But of course she didn't ask any questions or suggest any other causes. Unbelievable. Months later I am still upset about this treatment.
