I want to say thanks to Dr. Feder for all the great care Maggie has received throughout her 13 yrs. Dr. Feder has saved Maggie's life so many times. He has taken extra time out of his busy day to listen to my concerns, and watch me cry as well. His staff has always been so friendly, helpful, and compassionate also. They really CARE. How awesome is that!!

If it was not for the assistance I would say this place was HORRIBLE. Two of the assistants were very kind and understanding while the Vet made us feel like we had no choice but to either put our dog down or do the surgery. She was not very understanding how 3000+ dollars just was not in our option right now, nor did she seem like she was willing to give us any alternative til I mentioned the wheelchair for dogs. We had to wait to be seen for 3hrs while my dog shook in pain from compressed discs. Again the assistants were very understanding and apologized for the Vet. Today we went to pick up our dog because they were about to do the surgery that we could not afford that still has a high risk of paralyzing our dachshund! The Vet was very rude, when i asked her about the wheel chair option or alternative methods to help my dog. I Will Not be taking my dogs back to this place, not only is it INCREDIBLY expensive (with no payment plan option besides the Care Credit which was still out of our pricing. I feel they let my dog be in pain for 6+ hours prior to us picking her up, I felt like the Vet no longer cared about the well being of the animal because I told her we could not afford at the time, the surgery. I believe this place to be heartless and unsympathetic to an animals plight unless you have the money upfront to be cared for. I would understand the no payment plan, I could even forgive the over priced services But what I CAN NOT FORGIVE is the fact my dog was in PAIN for 3 hours while waiting on a vet, then in pain 6+ hours while waiting to be discharged!

Dr. Basinger is an outstanding surgeon. My Border Collie mix had TPLO surgery in April of '07. I was given a quote up front, and it did not exceed that price at all. My dog had absolutely no complications thanks to Dr. Basinger's surgical ability and the wonderful care his clinic provided. The therapist took a whole hour to show me how to do my dog's physical therapy exercises. I would recommend them in a heartbeat! Completely professional and truly cared about my dog's well-being.
