I would have been happy with my experience until one of the women insinuated that I don't take care of my dog and am mistreating him!!! I have a Chihuahua that I am dearly in love with. He is 9 and I've had him pretty much since birth. He sleeps in the garage with a bed and tons of blankets then goes in and out of the garage and yard as he pleases during the day. When the vet asked me is he an indoor dog and I said no and explained where he stays, the woman said "yeah no wonder he's cold" (because he was shaking at the time). I am 21 yrs old I think I know how to take care of my dog and have had him for 9 yrs and he's always been perfectly fine. I make sure he stays very warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I had to take him out in the WINTER to go to the vet and he's probably a little scared because he's at the vet don't ya think?! Him being cold at the vet has nothing to do with his temperature at home DUH!! Then when she heard I fed him (have since changed) a dog food that she didn't think was the best because I DID NOT KNOW what brand was the best, she gave him some food and said "aww poor thing I'll feed you". I feed my baby whole boneless chicken breasts regularly thank you very much, he is very pampered. There are so many vets and animal hospitals around here we can easily go some where else so if they want to continue to have business I suggest they keep their comments to themselves. I will gladly be going back to my vet (Richland Creek) next time, the only reason I went is because my vet was closed. My vet even has pet med mobile on the side of the road so you can just easily stop somewhere close to you and get your pet's shots how much better could it get! My vet always makes me feel welcome and comfortable when I go to the clinic and they are way cheaper than the rest too!
Very friendly, professional, and warm. Definitely will be bringing my little fuzzy friends here whenever they need attention.
Everyone who works at this vet's office has very big hearts! Yesterday I rescued 5 kittens off the road and brought them to the vet's today to get a check-up before I find homes for them. They were all very kind to me and my kittens, and after the vet did the checkup and de-wormed them, he said that it would all be free of charge. They also have many many pets that they have adopted as office pets that live in the office with them!
