I am a local veterinarian in Anderson, SC and I highly recommend Upstate Veterinary Specialists for specialty care. I refer patients there when I have a case that I am not comfortable with and they always take great care of my patients. The upstate is fortunate to have UVS.

we were referred by our local vet. It's nice to know that there is somewhere close that can handle probably anything that comes up on any animal. The building is like a regular hospital for the human kind. We were seen fast, same day and that was helpful. The Dr, Adley was very accomidating and straight forward. As sad a day as it was for our dog, he gave us some hope and perscribed a treatment in leu of surgery that we couldn't afford anyway. (thats the real sad part). So far our dog is responding well to treatment and we are hopefull he will be around for a while longer. Pleasant staff. Quick service. Minimum waiting time. Expensive? Yes. But quality is worth the price I guess.

Very pleased with staff prior to and during surgery. Very good care, however when trying to schedule appointment for follow up after surgery was told for several different days they were booked, receptionist did not even try to work us in. I even explained that I had surgery and could not lift out dog in and out of the car so I had to work around my husbands work schedule. Very taken back that she did not even try to work us in just for a checkup after surgery.
