By far the best animal hospital around. Because I often have my two younger children with me, the staff is always willing to meet me at my car to check in my pets (I have 2 dogs, 1 cat) and take my payment from the car, running back and forth to complete the transaction. It is clear that these girls had mothers who taught them how to be nice, cordial and professional and you don't get this everywhere you go. I especially applaud Susan, Kristin, and Carrie for the time they've spent with me going over medications and running their exceptional curbside service. :) The vets, especially Elizabeth Niciu, are knowledgeable, empathetic and efficient. I would highly recommend this practice.

I moved to Columbia and got a pet and didn't know any of the vets in the area. Dr. Emily Johnson and EVERYONE at Dutch Fork Animal Hospital has been extremely professional and friendly. The waiting room is always clean and comfortable with the free coffee or tea. You get taken care of quickly too. We use them to kennel our dog when we go out of town and they do a great job! The tech assistants are excited to see my dog and he is always happy when we go there. I think the best part about Dutch Fork Animal Hospital is that they are a one-stop-shop. I can go in for normal check-ups and if anything serious was wrong they can do the surgery right there. It's also a peace of mind when we kennel my dog to know that they could do surgery in an emergency right away. Whenever our dog stays we usually have them wash him and they do a great job, trimming nails, washing and anal glands. We usually see Dr. Emily, who you can tell LOVES animals, we've also seen Dr. Tiffany Boyette once and she was really nice too. I think their prices are pretty par for the course.

There's no other place I'd take my pups. I have 2 older dogs who have lots of aches & pains, and this place is wonderful! Dr. Johnson is amazing - great "bedside manner" and very thorough. The office is always immaculate and techs are great too. Highly recommend!!

Rude, inconsiderate, obnoxious, and over all a terrible vet. The Veterinarians are amazing but literally every one else is terrible. The office staff thinks they know everything, the vet assistants have a serious attitude problem and overall it is not worth it to go through all that just to see a veterinarian who is nice, competent, and has good manners. That is how everyone should be. The ONLY reason they get two stars instead of one is because of the veterinarians themselves who i have absolutely no complaints about and would recommend if you did not have to deal with everyone else. Will be looking for another vet to take my animals to. Have given them multiple chances and they only get worse. I have a bitch with four legs im not going to deal with four bitches with two legs.

We became part of the DFAH family after our cat was involved in a near fatal accident. The staff at DFAH were caring, professional, and very easy to work with. Our cat is doing great today, thanks to the loving care she received. We look forward to working with the staff at DFAH for years to come.
