My husband and I started taking our boxer Nia to Sun Dog Cat Moon in September after she was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Dr Borakove is amazing, she has been such a wonderful blessing in our lives. The staff is always friendly and willing to do anything they can to help our precious girl. Dr. Ruth Roberts and her staff at Sun Dog Cat Moon are consistently kind, thoughtful, proficient, and thorough. My beagle and Dr. Ruth seem to have a non-verbal communication, which I find fascinating. Using a blend of conventional Western medicine and Eastern techniques and supplements, she keeps my dog and my cat in top shape, beginning with her Crockpet diet. Can't say enough good things about our experiences there. We love Dr. Ruth.

This veterinarian practice is absolutely the best place to take your pets! The staff is extremely professional, and they treat the root cause of your pets problems, not just the symptoms. They are also one of the few vets out there who don't push vaccines on pet owners as a money-making scheme - they are hands-down the best vets in the Low-Country.

Can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Roberts and her staff. I have a house full of geriatric pups, she definitely makes their quality of life so much better with acupuncture.

This is a truly wonderful place, we really appreciate the approach here. Have been happily going here for 5-ish years... 3 dogs... everything from a challenging auto-immune disease to age-related issues have been approached from the whole instead of addressing only the end symptoms such that lives were not only extended, they were made joyful again for as long as possible. What has amazed me most recently is how the e-n-t-i-r-e staff has helped a dog with extreme fear/anxiety to anything/anyone new, otherwise he'd have never been able to receive the treatments needed. They went to extraordinary lengths to accommodate time and time again until he understood they were all kind and no one there would harm him. The overall feel of the place is conducive to helping animals feel less stressed, in addition to the thoughtful consideration each animal receives, it more resembles a home atmosphere rather than a slick high volume practice. No one there is adverse to getting down on the floor with an animal if that seems the best way to assess and maintain calm. We hadn't been there in awhile but had to pop in yesterday... not only was there no quaking in fear... he didn’t even hide under the bench while we were waiting... a first. ;) Will never go anywhere else if it can be helped.
