Birds & Exotics Animal Care: I took my bird in for a wing clipping and afterwards felt like I have been swindled. 1) all they tried to do is tell me my bird was unhealthy because I was not feeding it the food they sold and that if I bought it all my bids "Problems " would go away 2) during my exam they dropped my bird and broke a blood feather causing my bird to bleed all over 3) they would not listen to what I had to say they had there own ideas of what they want and feel me lines hoping I would buy into them. IE: my birds wings needed to be cut for the first time because he just learned that he could fly and was crashing around my house, when the vet examined him all she kept saying is it looked like the bird kept falling so she didn’t want to trim all the birds feathers later explaining that I would have to come back more often to have this redone. 4) the exam I paid $50 for lasted 3 seconds and resulted in being told I need to buy their magical food. In the end I paid $83 dollars to have his wings trimmed his nails trimmed with a dremmel my poor bird get hurt. I will NEVER take my bird here again and do not advise anyone else to do so.
