I have to say I went in there on Thursday with a huge lump on my furbabies throat. And right away Dr. King and his staff helped make her as comfortable as possible while testing her. They were also super nice to me and explained everything and let me see what they were doing to my dog which i loved. I will definitely continue to take my animals there because they have earned my trust!
The VET is the most important to me not his staff. We are all human and no one is perfect. This vet has been the best for us.
I'd give it five stars but I have to agree with a few other reviewers that the front desk workers are...well, not necessarily rude, but rather indifferent and cold. No one smiles or said good afternoon. Dr. Luke and Dr. King are amazing and they try to educate you- like letting us look in the microscope at our cat's infection. I have two cats and they were both adopted from the hospital as stray kittens and we've been going there for nine years now. Surgeries and routine vaccinations and the odd injury here and there has been treated. The vet techs are always friendly and nice too. It's just those front desk employees that sully the visit.
I was happy to find this vet. I found an injured bird in my yard and they were very willing to help me when my own vet closer to home could not. I was not charged although the paperwork asked for a small donation which I was more than willing to pay. I thought it was smart of them to ask in such a non-confrontational way. Everyone was friendly and informative about what was going to happen to the little guy. Since I did not actually use the vet, I am refraining from giving 5 stars, although I had a 5 star experience.
RUNNNNNNNNN! If you love you pet then stay away! Rude! Money driven! If a vet cared for animals then they would never turn one away! Oh and by the way on our way out poor little "fluffy" way getting picked up by her family and the sweet little 12 year old girl whom had stars in her eyes as she walked fluffy out to the car only to return 1 min and 45 second later with a dead fluffy. I am sure they have helped many with their sick pets but I would rather drive 500 mile on a horse, being attacked by a swarm of angry bees, on fire, blinded by hail and being smacked in the back of the head with a tennis racket by a angry monkey thennnn to go back there for as much as a band-aid. Hope this helps.......
