Great boarding and great vet! We trust both of our dogs to their care when we are out of town!

We have been to the office 4 times now, and have had two bad experiences. One experience dealt with a possible diagnosis of cancer for a beloved pet. We were given several options for treatment, but the X-rays needed to confirm the diagnosis were not done at that visit. I chose to seek a 2nd opinion because the best treatment option was going to be several thousand dollars. I took our cat to The Cat Clinic in Greenville two days later-they immediately did X-rays which showed that the cancer had already spread to her lungs which is terminal. We had gotten our hopes up when there was never even a chance. X-rays would have shown that at the visit at Cedar Lake. We adopted a new kitten from the Greenville County Humane Society. We took him to Cedar Lake for his 2nd set of shots and they did a full exam on him. We were asked to bring him back 3 weeks later for two booster shots. I called and set up the visit for his shots, and dropped him off at the visit while I went to the doctor myself. When I came back and picked him up I was given a sheet showing everything them did during the exam. I thought there must be a mistake. He was not there for an exam-he was just seen 3 weeks prior and got a glowing report. We were told the visit was for two booster shots. I called and scheduled him for two booster shots. I talked with the tech when I dropped him off and she stated they would give him his two booster shots. She even asked me if he was having any issues and I told her no, he is doing great. Why would he need another physical exam that cost $52? We will not be returning to this office. We will transfer his care to The Cat Clinic where our other cats are followed. Dr. Anderson and her staff are fabulous. I have been going there for over 10 years. I should never have traded that fabulous care for the convenience of Cedar Lake. We live in Laurens County, but we will travel to Greenville for better care.

When we first moved to Simpsonville, SC from Indiana we were looking for a vet that was close enough to the apartment we lived in. We liked Cedar Lake because it was close and the people are always so great. The vets act like they truly care about a member of your family. We have since moved about 10-15 min away and we still go to Cedar Lake. I would highly recommend it.

I love Cedar Lake. They know my dogs by name every time I come in. Anytime I have a concern, they get me an appointment very quickly. The vets and staff are so kind and compassionate. My family and I have been taking our pets here for over 15 years and will continue to do so. I highly recommend them.
