The best small animal vets that I have experienced in a lifetime. Other vets always asked us to totally restrain our very gentle and kind German Shepard before giving her shots but these vets always gave her shots completely loose in the exam room. I am a medical scientist and I assure you also that they have excellent and very up-to-date biomedical knowledge and experience. These vets are a perfect combination of a kind caring approach to their patients and state-of-the-art capability.

Always wonderful to deal with from check in to check out. VERY compassionate staff and Dr Shrum and Dr Powell are wonderful!! Have never had a bad experience there!

I;ve dealt with animal hospitals my entire life, as I've had dogs since I was a little kid. I can honestly say that I've never met any team as kind, considerate, caring and COMPETENT as the one Dr. Shrum has assembled. From Drs. Powell and Storm, to the reception staff and the vet techs and assistants (shout outs to Jackie, Chrissie, Crystal, Katie and all the others who's names escape me now), there is no better team in all of the Upstate area! And I've been to quite a few!!! As we wind down our time here in Simpsonville and prepare for our next adventure back to Florida, I have to say that you will all be terribly missed. I wish I could wrap you all up and take you with us!!! I don't think I'll ever find another Dr. like Dr. Shrum...... when we had to put Diesel down last year (our beloved Rottie), Dr. Shrum stood right there alongside of us for as long as it took us to say goodbye, and I did detect a couple of tears running down his cheeks, too. That kind of compassion can't be taught in school, its innate and Dr. Shrum has "it". Thank you all for the wonderful service you've provided to us all, Diesel (RIP), Zagara and Bella.
