Been with these guys exclusively for almost nine years (except when we lived in CO a short stint), switched after our last experience. We always board our four dogs there and this recent time, two of the four needed their vaccines. This was communicated back and forth numerous times. Got back in town, picked up our four dogs. At checkout, saw that only one dog got vaccinated and it was the wrong dog. The dog that was wrongly vaccinated just had his vaccines not two months prior. Tai Federico met with me in a room and the majority of our interaction was me refuting the numerous excuses as to why negligent vaccination occurred before I was given an apology. The conversation did not end on a pleasant level. The next day, my dog vomited over six times in the morning and we reached out to Tai to get help. Was told by a staff person that he was with another client, couldn't take our call and that we needed to bring the dog in. We asked for him to call us back asap. We ended up calling a different veterinary clinic for help. When Tai finally called back in the late afternoon, the voice mail was to let us know he had left for the day and if we had problems to reach out to the on-call doctor. We've now 100% switched to that different veterinary clinic and I wish we had've done that sooner—loyalty held us out too long. The rest of the DVMs are really wonderful, however, if you have an issue like we did, you will ultimately have to deal with Tai and that is why we have chosen to move on.
We recently moved to Chattanooga and didn't have a vet yet. Yesterday, our dog LuLu started peeing all the time and even peed on the rug. I called and they got her in as a walk in...she was seen in less than 1/2 from the time I called. Total visit was $70.00 but that included them expressing her glands, visit, meds and dog treats. Very inexpensive compared to what we paid in Ohio. Doctor Kolb was great along with all the staff. I now made our appointment for her annual visit....definitely would recommend them!
Been taking my Staffordshire there since she was a puppy and I have never been disappointed. Dr.Johnson is the best vet and the nurses are very nice, they love my dog and I got to no other place but them
If you love your pets like they are part of your family, this is the only place to take them. The doctors and staff treat your pet like they are their own. Riverview is a place for dogs and cats alike! Do NOT go anywhere else!
Loved Riverview. Would still go there if I lived in Chattanooga. It was the only vet I went to in Chattanooga besides one emergency time. Staff is so friendly and the facility is always clean and nice. :)
