I have been a customer nearly 10 years. If not for this clinic and staff members, it would be very hard for me to own a pet. I love this clinic and the excellent care my pets receive at affordable prices. Thanks for the great job you have done for my pets!!!
The people that work here are very friendly.I thought that they were caring and they really care about animals. The only complaint that I have is that they charged me for a shot that my dog did not get. When I got home and was going over the bill I thought they forgot to give me something.I was shocked when I called @ they said it was for a shot she had received. When I told them she did not get a shot they said "sometimes the owner doesn't notice when their pet gets a shot" !!! My dog weighs 12 pounds and she is a nervous type dog.I would know if she got a shot. The vet said to bring her back today and they would give her "another one". Even after I said she did not get one.So whoever had a large dog in room 4 around 9:30 on Monday may have had a shot they didn't need.My dog seems to be feeling better,I just know that shot would have helped. After all I would give them a good rating.Everybody makes mistakes.
Needed emergency help, but did not have ANY money to pay down. Would not accept a post-dated check with out money up front. Never mind that we have used this facility several times with absolutely no balance and no late payment history. Never mind that we had a very credible VIP, know for their compassion towards animal, and known by every employee at this clinic.......call in and vouch for our ability to be trusted with the bill. I understand Veterinarians need to be paid and should be paid! I've never ever had a problem with this place before today. Initial phone call: "VIP's identity, well known"..."they must call before you come" 2nd phone call: Why is my spouse and child outside, They would never had shown up had we not been confirmed by VIP's CALL to the office. 3rd phone call----------------CENSORED--------------------------- for the sake of employee and management's right to deny service, and obviously....to give a family the run around. Happy Easter
We took our beloved pomeranian to Shoals with a very bad broken leg, they wanted 500 up front and stated it would cost about 1000 more. We took her here and they fixed her leg, set up payments and did everything way less than Shoals. Also Shoals said she needed surgery for deformed legs and the other vet said the deformity is common in small dogs and is not touched unless it causes a problem. Shows you who cares and who is out for a buck. Also took in a previous pom and found out she had diabetes and pancreatitis and they told us we could spend a lot of money trying but more than likely would not help and it didn't.
I arrived at the Elizabethton Vet Clinic and found out that they had not put my appointment in the computer. So, all the information that took at least five minutes over the phone was for nothing. They didn't ask me for my information to be reentered either. The vet came in and took my bird back in a hurry without allowing time for me to ask questions or comment. This time would have allowed me to tell the vet to clip my birds wings so it could safety land without dropping like a rock. When she got back my birds wings were clipped too much. Also, I scheduled to have a routine exam for my bird, the vet new nothing of this. I left without the exam purposefully. I wasn't pleased with their competence level.
