I took a very sick little dog to Animalia Friday afternoon, along with my other two dogs who needed heartworm tests. Everyone was very patient with me, and I appreciated that because I left the house at 3:15 and didn't get home until 7:00 pm. I drive from Smyrna to Franklin to have my dogs taken care of with kindness and at a reasonable cost for the services I need. Why a blood titer is $170 in Smyrna, I really don't know (checked at 2 vets), when it is $79 at Animalia. No one at Animalia questioned my resistance to "robo-vaccination." Dr. Malone was pleasant and optimistic. I was really nervous, because the last time I took a dog to a vet with horrid vomiting and diarrhea, we found she was crashing from cancer/organ failure and I went home alone (before we moved to TN). Sick little dog is much better. Now we both get to sleep at night.

My Siamese kitten, Jasper, brought me to my whit's end. He needed his nails trimmed & a bath, but refused to allow me to do it. I sheepishly called, inquired about only a grooming session as Jasper is seeing Dr. Alexander. Anna Claire, answered the phone. She is absolutely the sweetest soul, welcomed the inquiry happily. When Jasper arrived, he was greeted, loved on, spoken to..Everyone was reassuring, answering all my questions & professional .. I owned and ran a fairly good sized farm for 30 years, this establishment is first rate. Truly.
