I have always had wonderful care for my dogs from Forest Hill Animal Hospital. They were so caring when we had to put both of our dogs down in the same year, even getting a sympathy card. I highly recommend them and their wonderful staff. Dr. Dixon has been our vet for several years and I feel he always has a desire to truly find the best course of medicine for our pets at the most reasonable price. I love that The Polished Pooch also has Doggy Day Care here too. Meredith is fabulous!!!

Dr Johnson and Dr Dixon have kept our dogs healthy and happy. Our 12 year old border collie broke his hip last year. Dr. Johnson tried the sling method and was very supportive. After surgery, he worked with laser therapy to help the healing. Dude runs like a 3 year old. He has a little arthritis to be expected at age 13. We have brought several dogs for many years to Forest Hill. Our latest addition a rescue dog (Maude) and Dude are loved on every time they visit the vet. They both just jump in the car ready to go whenever.

Dr. Dixon has treated our dogs for over 10 years. We keep getting more dogs just so he can treat them. LOL No, really, we have fostered many dogs over the years, and Dr. Dixon has helped to get these precious pups in shape until their forever homes could be found. We now have a little family of out own adopted dogs and Dr. Dixon and his staff make us feel so secure that they are receiving the best care possible. There have been some major illnesses, but Dr. Dixon has always pulled them through.

Dr Dixon has been terrific for our (actually our daughter's) dog--Coachie. A Peek-a-Pom who needed a cyst from his eye removed a few weeks ago. All went perfectly. Then 24 hours before we were to leave on a 2 week cruise Coach had something wrong...we thought we would have to cancel everything...the hospital got him in immediately, Dr Dixon took a very thorough look and found a strained muscle in his back (too much trampoline for the little guy). Gave us the options but encouraged us to go on vacation as we had house sitters who could call him if anything went south...all worked out well. We appreciate Forest Hill for this type of support...we have also left ole Coach with doggie day care and with the other dogs in the kennel on occasion.

Dr Brookshire is wonderful...my 75 pound Samyoed loves him even though Rocky has diabetes that took about year to get under control, as well as urinary tract infections. Rocky has been doing great this last 6-8 months because Dr.Brookshire kept trying different things til we found the right combo. This is a great practice...everyone from from the front desk to the techs to all the Dr's are kind, caring and professional.
