I have been a client for over 20 years since Dr Richards was still practicing, and I love these guys. I even work at another clinic in town but continue to bring my dog to VolVet. They genuinely care about the pets and their clients. The staff is always friendly, and they go out of their way to do what they can to make sure your pet gets the best level of care that they can offer. Dr. Fields is excellent and very caring. She has gone out of her way to even come sit in my car with me and help me and my dog through a seizure episode. I really appreciate these guys!

We've used the clinic twice, once for a minor emergency with one of our dogs and today for another minor emergency with my cat. Up until last month, we had packages with Banfield, so for routine care we used them, but the wait was always long and they just try to sell, sell, sell. Both experiences at Volunteer were effortless...they took us right in, cared well for our pets, and as far as vets go, I felt the price was reasonable. The staff was very honest and professional, I especially liked Dr. Dixon because he is a "straight shooter." I like people who talk to me like an equal and can answer my questions without making me regret that I asked. He is straight to the point, says it like it is, and doesn't waste time. Very pleased with our experience, we will be using Dr. Dixon from now on.

Had a GREAT experience with Dr. Dixon. He took care of my pet rabbit "Serenity". He and his staff were VERY thorough and the charge were VERY affordable. I got the prescription items I needed ON SITE and after hours followup by Dr. Dixon. This was a ONE STOP for me and I appreciate the time-savings. Dr. Dixon valued my time, which to me is better than money. I WOULD HIGHLY recommend him. I grew up with 13 cats and 2 dogs, I grew up knowing the VALUE of a good vet. A+++!

September 25, 2012 I was turned away because I could not pay or write a check for payment because I did not have 3 phone #s on the check. My hedgehog had a bitten off leg from his mom 3 weeks old and he loses a leg and a vet refuses to look at him I am disgusted and will never go back to this vet
