WHERE TO START! In general the staff where about as pleasent as a root canal!! I dropped off a stray kitten to be treated at 1130am. At 3pm I called to check on how she was doing. Good thing I did. I was told they had not even done a simple 5 min blood test! And they MIGHT get to her "tomorrow" some time. I was given tons of excuses about emergencys. Not even a friggen phone call saying there was a problem. When I arrived to pick up the Kitten the guy behind the counter said you will have to wait for the records. After I called and told him to have the records ready to take. (considering that I was running back to the other side of knoxville to get the kitten treated) I left so angry I was shaking. AND THAT WAS THE LEAST OF IT!!!!! The Drs may know what they are doing but that is about it. I will never return to this horrible place with my money or animals.
These folks are wonderful and caring. We take all three of our cats there. They will go out of their way to make the cats and owners comfortable and educated. They have some live-in cats who are friendly with people and our own cats. Be sure to pet Jake! Cindy is caring and always willing to talk about concerns and offer help when dealing with aging animals.
Excellent, caring and very knowledgable vets. Both, Dr. Cindy and Dr. Lisa have taken the time to give us extra information about treatments previously given to our cats, and safer options. They're whole team is great, gentle and create a very welcoming environment. They are what you expect a health provider to be (and what all should be). Very happy with they're service =)
I take an older indoor only kitty and a half-feral "found" kitty to them. They are understanding with both. My older kitty moved here with a frowny face on her chart from her prior vet - with "MEAN CAT" written below. The folks at the Cat Clinic were not impressed or challenged. They knew how to handle unfriendly kitties. I travel 30+ miles to take both of my kitties to them. And will continue to do so.
I would not recommend the Cat Clinic for kitty grooming, unless you would like to have you cat sedated. My cat has been groomed at least every 6 months for years and no one has ever had a problem with her; Cat Clinic was calling me an hour after I left saying she wouldn't let them groom her! Finally found another lady here in Knoxville that is great with cats...adorable pets treated my kitty great...picked her up and she was purring!
