I think its pretty sad when you call and explain your cat is suffering in great pain and needs to be euthanized and are told you have to make an appt for the next day hours after they open. I have spent hundreds of dollars at crossing for all my animals and this is how I was treated. Well it was a rough night with my kitty in so much pain watching her die, I would think that would have qualified for an emergency over other appointments. My last dollar you will ever get from me is the cremation, I will take my animals someplace where they actually care.
The friendliest staff, they really do care about our pets, and our feelings toward our pets. I would highly recommend, They worked very hard to diagnose our kitten's issues, when there was nothing left to do, they were very supportive and compassionate about our pet. I was highly impressed with Crossings. Remember usually only bad experiences are the ones you see on here. Out of the few bad experiences in their ratings, there are thousands of great ratings that never get seen.
We went here for 3 years and thought it was pretty good, than we went in for just a routine Nail trim and the nurse was overly aggressive with our dog and after making 2 nails bleed my daughter told her we would just come back when there was someone there to help her. the lady said "I know what I'm doing if you'd just wait!" After choking our dog and making another nail bleed we left and on the way out this overally aggressive woman says in a nice voice" i wont charge you today." DAMN RIGHT were not paying anything today. Do NOT let that Bipolar blonde woman near your dog! I wish i knew her name i'd call and complain.
WOW... what a let down . I used the word damn and suddenly I have "cursed at them" "abused them" and have been asked to take my patient records and leave. My pets has been patients there for 2 years. Never an issue. Then when I question the fact that one dog was labeled to be older than a conversation previously held... I was told that they never said that or quoted a particular price... Long story short... the office staff was rude and not understanding that I was quoted wrong... When I brought this to their attention they sold a few lines of crap to the vet and Dr. Brooks dismissed us as clients... not a way to handle business. Its ashame and I had never had any issue and today escalated so bad...ashamed as I thought I had a competent provider... there is a reason they work with animals as they cannot work with people...
After our vet for over 25 yr. retired, I relocated to Dr. Bailey at Crossings....very sweet Dr. and has a very special place for every pet that goes there. We lost our yellow lab, Ellie May, she was 13...she was diagnosed w/ liver cancer, went blind w/i a week and got alzheimers in the last 3 months of her wonderful life... the staff and Dr. Bailey were especially great attending to this horrible incident in our dearly beloved pet's life... She went to sleep October of 2008, and they even wrote us a special card/note for our family...great people and services.
