I wanted to take a moment to brag on your Veterinarian Dr. Sam Gindville and the staff at the Mt. Juliet, Tennessee Banfield Pet Hospital. On Friday, April 19, 2013, my husband and I took our 7 year old beloved Border Collie / Lab Mix Summer Blaze to Banfield, because she was throwing up blood. After a two hour visit with Dr. Gindville, we left Summer Blaze in his and the Banfield’s staff care so they could do x-ray’s on Summer Blaze. We later received a call that Summer Blaze had a shiny foreign object in her stomach (we later found it was a needle) and would need emergency surgery that day. Dr. Gindville began the surgery on her stomach and couldn’t find the object and he searched diligently for it. It so happened that the needle had perforated her stomach and the stomach lining was growing over it. Dr. Gindville was in surgery for several hours fighting for our dog. He stood his ground and wasn’t going down without a fight and because of his hard work and determination he was successful in finding the needle that Summer Blaze had freakishly swallowed. My husband and I saw Dr. Gindville right after he performed the surgery. He thoroughly explained the surgery, showing us the x-ray’s and bless his heart, he was visibly exhausted from all he put into to saving our precious Summer Blaze. We are so blessed that he was our doctor that day and for his kindness, determination, his skill, his passion to make a difference on this Friday, April 19, 2013. He truly made a difference in our life and Summer Blaze’s. There is no doubt in my mind he gave it everything he had to save our dog. We are most appreciative of his dedication, talent and valor for saving our sweet Summer Blaze. I want to thank the staff also. They were so good to us and for the ones that directly took care of Summer Blaze, we are so grateful for their caring hearts. We saw her right after her surgery as we had to transport her to an Animal Hospital, and the young lady that was caring for her post-op was truly caring and loving as she caressed and reassured Summer Blaze everything was alright. It was truly touching to witness. It is these very special people I want to recognize because it is people like them you want representing your company, as they are the ones that keep people like us coming through your doors and making Banfield successful. You cannot buy with any amount of money the heart Dr. Gindville and his staff exhibited to us and our Summer Blaze and the relationship that was formed because of it. +

We love everyone at Banfield Pet Hospital. I have Patsy and Kitty that have been going there since we rescued them. The staff and doctors have always been kind and loving to them. Thank you very much Banfield for taking such good care of my babies!

Dr. Crockett is horrible. First of the woman never smiles or is friendly. She is very condescending that we feed our cats Goodlife because it's a "lower quality food". We took in a cat that somebody dumped at our apartment. Our cat absolutely despises Dr. Crockett to the point he growled at her this last visit. Our cat never even meows and loves to be pet. We not ever be taking him back to see her again. Stay very far away from this Banfield. They are horrible.
