Luke has been seen my the staff since we first adopted him. They LOVE my dog as much as I do. They are priced fairly, and they work with my budget. They take great care of my four legged family member!

This is the most unprofessional Vet's office I have ever been to. The vet mentioned that our dog might need a hip surgery or a replacement while treating an unrelated illness in front of my children. They were visibly upset. When I asked questions about the costs and treatment options for the sugery, I was told sharply that he may or may not need the surgery. I pushed futher for more information and was rushed to the front desk. I then heard the vet talking about me all the way to the counter. When I confronted her, she started crying. I shared my experience with the office manager and she was unsympathetic. There are too many good vets out there to waste your time here. I sincerely hope that the vet we dealt with is out of the practice. I was embarrassed for VCA during my visit.

I've hopped around to multiple vet offices in the area looking for a place where I feel welcome when I come in the door. This place makes me feel welcome immediately. I typically don't have to wait very long to have my pet(s) seen and they always make sure that all of my questions are answered before I leave. I couldn't ask for a better veterinary office to take my four legged family.

I called a day in advance and asked if I brought in my dog for evaluation could I leave him and pick him back up after I get off of work. I explained that it was about a 20 mile trip back to the house. I was told that it would be Ok. Keep in mind that I had just paid them over $700.00 the week before for treatment to this same dog. The following morning I came in and said I have my dog to leave. The receptionist (a rude black haired woman) shot back with "NO SIR, WE NO LONGER DO THAT" I mean she was downright hateful. I said that I had called and arranged this yesterday. She told me in a very quipped voice that the policy had changed. I said "since yesterday?" She said that it changed that night. I can't begin to explain how hateful this woman was. It was like I had personally offended her and she was mad as hell. The other staff that was there seemed embarassed about how she was treating me. They wouldn't make eye contact and seemed to just stare at the floor. Needless to say I was deeply offended by this womans treatment of me. I left and WILL NEVER GO BACK. I went right up the road to another vets office (I won't mention the name here), you know, the one behind Rices's Country Ham store there at the corner of Lebanon Rd & Nonaville Rd in Mt. Juliet. The staff there took my dog in, kept him for the day and charged no extra. They now get all of my business for all of my eight dogs. They even came in and performed emergency surgery for Noodles on Easter Sunday. The VCA place, I wouldn't waste my time unless you like being treated badly.

I recently started going to VCA after having a bad experience at another vet in mt.juliet. Yes that vet was cheaper but my dogs problem never got better and they showed no compassion for my animal. I think now that i have started going to VCA Animal care center in Mt. Juliet i feel like my animals get the treatment and care they deserve. I like that they send me reminders in the mail so i never forget what my animals need. The doctors and technicians are wonderful i feel like they care not only about my animals but about us clients to.
