I have used Hillsboro Animal Hospital for more than 30 years. Dr. Steve Ladd has been the vet for all of our cats and dogs and most recently for our now deceased dog for 14 years. Dr. Ladd and all the staff have always cared for our beloved pets with professionalism and great kindness. Our pets could not have had better care.

Simply the BEST. Dr. Steven Ladd and the staff at Hillsboro Animal Hospital have cared for our dogs for over 30 years. Dr. Ladd has HEART as well as skills. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy and kind. He LOVES animals and shows genuine concern for their well-being. He understands how important our pets are to us. He is a great communicator, taking the time to explain things in laymen's terms, and he's never rushed or condescending. Dr. Ladd fully explains medical treatment options and their costs. He shares our joy when our dogs are healthy, and grieves with us when it is time to let them go. The staff is always professional and welcoming. I've just not ever had a problem here.

I have taken my dogs to Dr. Hendrix at this clinic for over ten years and have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and everyone here. Two years ago I had to have my beloved dog Isaac put to sleep. Isaac had been my best, dearest friend for over 14 years. The compassion of Dr. Hendrix and the staff was extraordinary. One of the vet techs held me afterwards as I sobbed. I now take my new puppy Jake there. In a decade I personally have never found anyone at this clinic to be less than stellar. And Dr. Hendrix is just awesome. He knows his stuff. He loves animals. He is just an all around good guy. I am grateful to have them caring for my beloved pets for over a decade.

I have taken both my cats here perhaps too many times but I could not be happier with the staff. Dr. Given is so nice and has gone above and beyond to take care of my kitties. The vet techs are really sweet and their diligence has saved me a lot of money.

Doesn't matter which vet. I've personally dealt with Dr. Rogers and Dr. Hendrix and they were both amazing. Everyone working there is amazing and always friendly and happy. It is a little bit pricey (for me as a college student) but it is always worth it. They have set the bar very high for any future vets that I encounter in the future.
