When I first started coming here I moved from Greeneville and duvkworth was awesome now I have my dog digging scratching bleeding she does it so much they have an attitude problem they are a vet they should know more than anybody this is your animal the one thing you agreed to protect and take care of sorry if I'm wrong by thinking that people in this world are messed up in the head just give them pills it it works it works if not to bad it a dog not a human and were a vet not a hospital and I can't waste alot of time trying to figure it out what is wrong but then how would they get their hour lunch and get to your money week after week if you want to grow money away then go ahead but I'm going where results show up they are to green for anything complex
I am a veterinarian in Alabama and while vacationing with my family (and pets) tragically we had a pet in need of euthanasia. Since not licensed to practice in TN and not close to any medications in my home clinic, I had to become the client for a change and find a vet other than myself. Animal Clinic was TOP NOTCH in their service. They were able to see us right away. Although the clinic was busy, they worked us in very quickly. All of the staff were very polite and friendly. The clinic is clean, quiet, and does not smell. Dr. Harper was amazing and very compassionate. If you live in Pigeon Forge full time or vacation there with you furry family members, this is THE veterinary hospital to go to. Cannot recommend enough.
When we are on vacation this is where we take our dogs BB (Min Pin) and Zeb(Yorkie). Now this year we rescued a stray puppy that everyone thought weas a beagle......he is definetly NOT a beagle! We thought he had been hit by a car. Estimating his age at that time was really over estimated. He was most likely only 3 weeks old! Our grandaughter named him KoKoa Puffs. He wantered into our campsite at the KOA, therefore his name! He is close to 40 pounds now. He had sooooo many things wrong with him when we got him. Today he is very healthy and tomorrow he will be neutered by his vet here at home! I am sure we will visit the Animal Clinic in 2012 with all three dogs! These Vetranarians are awesome. The female staff is wonderful and kind to the Animals. I love most everyone there. Most importantly, my animals love them! If there was a number 10 rating, that is what they would receive from us!
I was just there over Spring Break on vacation because my dog seemed to have a growth between her paws that looked to be painful, we called our vet back home and they recommended we go to a vet where we were. So we took Pepper (my dog) to this animal clinic. The actual Vets were nice. But a younger male vet (possibly an assistant) was holding my dogs paw with one hand and holding her neck firmly (to the point where she couldn't breath most of the time) with the other hand. He was very rough while separating her toes while the other vet was drawing blood from the mass. After she was done, he was in charge of holding a kleenex there for a while and he was so rough, and spread the toes out to the point that she was wailing at the top of her longs in incredible pain. As soon as he was done and left the room I went and looked, her toe had been twisted an entire 90 degrees, and I told the person I was with I think he broke it, because her toe was completely fine going in (besides the mass). I was so angry the rest of the day, he was so cruel. We get back to Ohio and took Pepper (my dog) to her vet. They x-rayed her and sure enough we get a call from the vet saying that the bone in her toe had been completely broken off from the rest of the foot and now they have to amputate that toe. Please, if you love your dog, STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS VET AS YOU CAN.
My cat goes to this clinic and I must say, it's a great animal clinic. The staff is very nice and the doctors are very friendly and professional. I never have to wait long in the waiting room. I have no complaints. It's a great clinic.
