My family has been coming to Wyatt with our dogs and cats for many years. On multiple occasions he has made after hours exceptions for our babies. Also, you won't find prices as low as his anywhere else. We drive 45 minutes to take our animals here when there are several vets in Athens. It is important for new customers to understand that this office may be a little different from other vet offices you have visited in the past... organized chaos perhaps, but I have seen huge improvements in the last few years after they expanded their facilities. You may have to wait a little bit, and some of the staff are friendlier than others. It also helps if you can come on a week day rather than a Saturday. The nutshell is that I have never seen a vet that cares more about the animals than Wyatt. Five stars.

Dr. Wyatt is an AMAZING vet and person! He is truly dedicated to the well being of the animals that come to him. He works long, hard hours (usually around the clock) and is willing to come in early or stay after hours just to help his clients. He knows his stuff and has been my vet for over 14 years. I will NEVER go to another vet. His staff is friendly for the most part. They're very discombobulated because he is such a popular vet and lots of people use him and some drive long distances just to use his services. They are always busy and the office visits usually take a while. (Prepare yourself) If you're in a hurry, being rude will get you no where. First come, first serve unless your animal is in critical condition upon arrival. So just be patient. (I know it's NOT easy.) Their prices are very reasonable. Some services are surprisingly cheap! I see reviews saying the place stinks and is unclean... THIS IS NOT TRUE! He just finished a complete remodel of the entire building and built a HUGE new parking lot. He and his staff keep the facility very clean but occasionally it does smell like animals. IT IS A VET'S OFFICE! Not everyone bathes their dogs frequently or even keeps all their animals inside and sick animals sometimes have to "go" in the floor. I strongly recommend Dr. Wyatt and his services. You will not be unsatisfied. :)

Excellent vet. We have been using him for eight or so years. He has always treated our animals well. Everyone recommends him, and so do I. To everyone I meet that has animals. He is cheaper than the vets around here as well. The only downside to using him is that he is always very busy. He stays after hours a lot to make sure he gets to everyone. We just had him come in at 6:30 AM (hour before opening) today, and he said he stayed there until 1:30 that morning to get caught up. He is very dedicated to his work.

do not take yur animal here. we took our pup in and sine she was sick and had to stay they said we culd pay them on the 1st and take her home if she was healthy. well a week later they told us that she was just fine, absoultely healthy and doing just fie and ready for home. we told em ok we cant pay til the first, they said its ok so we waited we call n the day before the first and they say that she died on moday (memorial day) and that they waited three days to send her body off but they sent it on a tuesday (5/28) which was the day after memorial day so they didnt wait no three dyas, they also said they tried to call us but they neer called or left a vmial, our phone records show that. they try to tell us we owe them 150 just for a truck to pick up our dog een tho they never called and they even read my numbe roff to me perfectly so if they would of called they would of reached us. but not only all this but i got on the animal shelter site and she is on it, so they adoted my dog out with my consent

This vet is not even worth one star...do not take your animals to them!! My husband and I had a sick dog and not alot of funds, and it was recommended that we call this vet as his charges are low and he works with people. BIG MISTAKE!! The place is disgusting and smells so bad. They make far too many appointments so everyone in the office is running around like a chicken with their head cut off, even the vet. He places many people/pets in an exam room at the same time while giving them shots...to me this is unsanitary and unprofessional. It was total chaos in the office. That is just the beginning..... I was holding my dog in my arms while he was giving her a shot and the idiot stuck me in the finger with the needle! And...I really feel like he overdosed and killed my dog! My dog was sick when I brought her there and after he medicated her and I medicated her like he instructed, she got worse and passed away the next morning! (He had given her a shot in the leg and after we got her home, she wouldn't stand on her back legs)! To make matters worse, after she passed away we brought her there to be held for a couple of days until we could afford to have her cremated. Once we went in and payed for the cremation, they called the crematory to pick her up. Then, I find out that when they sent her to the crematory they kept all the stuff that I had sent with her (her favorite stuff), except for one thing. I called them about this and was told that they forgot to send it to the crematory with her. Really.....trying to steal stuff from a dead animal! I wonder how many other people they tried to do this to??!! Totally Unacceptable!!! Now, they are supposedly making arrangements to get her stuff to her before the cremation. I have called the local news station hoping they will do a report on this place and am thinking who else I can call. I am also going to call the veterinarian board to report them. Beware..Do Not Go To This Vet!! This place should be shut down!
