Few weeks ago, I had to take my dog (a German Shepherd) to the vet because he fell ill. The first vet I took him to said my dog had benign cysts and said my dog would be fine after awhile. My dog still didn't seem to improve very much in his condition. I knew that there was something wrong with my dog. He is usually such a happy and energetic dog. The week later, I took my dog to Dr. Huq's hospital and he confirmed that these cysts were indeed not benign and successfully operated on my dog and removed them. Thank goodness for competent doctors like him! I'm pleased to say, my dog has been doing well ever since, Bethany Pet Hospital saved my dog's life.
My mother brought her 8 year old Rescue Shepherd Mix into this vet on November 14th 2014 for a simple spay. The dog had no recent health problems besides cysts on her mammary glands that were confirmed to be benign from another vet less than a year ago. We brought the dog in for the Spay only, the vet later called and said that they must also operate on the benign cysts on the dogs mammary glands (for an extra charge of course). My mother was originally against this idea, but thinking that "This must be the best thing for my dog." she went ahead and said yes to have the procedure done. Later that day she received a phone call saying that her dog had died of shock. This shock did not occur from the simple spay that we ORIGINALLY BROUGHT THE DOG THERE FOR, but from the removal of the BENIGN CYSTS on the dogs mammary glands (FOR THAT LOVELY EXTRA CHARGE). I can understand that these things happen sometimes a dog can't be helped..., but this was an older dog that was healthy and happy the way that she was and that kind of surgery can be risky for them but they did it anyway. Now, this is the worst part, those that can't deal with the idea of a vet wanting to show you a video of your dead pet on the operating table with the "benign" cysts in the vets hand. This was shown to my mother whom had just learned her pet had died and was already very upset. This will be our first and last trip to the Bethany Pet Hospital.
This is one of the best vets I have been to, I had adopted a puppy from the pound about a year ago, he recently got into a large amount of chocolate and apparently onions off of the counter, we were low on income and they were more then willing to work with us and take care of our puppy, allowing us to set up a payment arrangement. needless to say or puppy is now an energetic loving dog. I would suggest anyone in the area to go here.
Excellent service. Affordable wellness plan, Annual checkup packages, Most modern radiology and ultrasound service. We also do many advanced surgeries like cruciate repair, patellar luxation, bloat, block cat, ear cropping, C-section, spay, neuter, entropion and others at an affordable price.
A few weeks ago my beloved 7 year old cat fell ill unexpectedly. Needless to say I had to take my cat in to Bethany Pet Hospital. Dr. Huq and his staff were very thorough, courteous and generous with all treatment information and handling of my cat. Sarah, one of the assistants went out of her way to make sure my cat was comfortable during her visit. Dr. Huq followed up within a day to check on the treatment of my cat. Without a doubt, this particular Pet clinic catered to not only my cat but also took care of all my questions and concerns. As a pet owner I think it's important to point out the exceptional care the staff gives to not only the animals but the pet parents also.
