I have to give a little background in this review so you'll understand why I LOVE Canyon Road Animal Hospital. I had a kitten spayed at another area vet. She isn't the easiest animal to deal with -- gets scared easily -- but she had never been a problem at the vet (she'd been in several times for shots and a bad illness). A relative took her in to get her stitches out since I couldn't get off work. The vet techs scared her so badly that she soiled herself and her crate. They couldn't get her out of the crate so my relative brought her home without having the stitches removed. They gave us a sedative to give her so we could bring her back and they'd be able to remove the stitches. When I found out about this I was furious. Why did my domesticated, relatively easy to handle cat need a sedative? So I decided to call CRAH and ask if they could help because I was not going to take her back to the other place. CRAH said they could handle it and when I got there I could tell it was going to be a GOOD experience for my kitten right away. For starters, the atmosphere was totally different. Instead of unsmiling, competent office help I was greeted with a smile and was told they'd do their best to help my kitten. I immediately felt I'd gone to the right place. They calmly and quietly worked with my very scared kitten to calm her down. They didn't force anything on her. They got her out of the crate by removing the screws and taking the lid off. They petted and loved on her and then carefully moved her to the table. They were able to remove the stitches and the leftover tape on her leg (which left raw open skin, by the way) without a single hiss, growl, scratch, or bite from her. No sedatives, no fuss, no muss. And they didn't charge me anything, either. Dr. Wolf and her staff has been fantastic. They truly care about your animals and will go the extra mile to help you. Their costs are lower than the other vets in town, too, and their evening hours are extremely convenient since I work all day.

I love this vet's office. I wish I could find people as caring in Dallas. I make special trips from Dallas to take my animals back to this vet. They are reasonably priced and take very good care of my animals. I've been taking them here since 2008.

We took our six minth old pup in with parvo.. Staff was great he was well taken care of.. Hes eight months now big an healthy

What a relief to find an honest and sincere vet for my chihuahua. My baby got pretty sick a few nights ago and we went to an emergency vet hospital and spent an arm and a leg. Tonight we followed up with Dr. Wolfe at Canyon Road Animal Hospital and she didn't even charge us for our office visit.. just 25 bucks for his medication. She's very kind and knowledgeable, and we'll definitely be going back.

These people could care less for the health and well being of your animals. None of the staff is very caring, and seem to be only interested in a weekly paycheck. Please look somewhere else if you are looking for a vet that will give your loved ones the very best care they can get.
