The most considerate, loving group of people I've come across to care for my old man, Gris. Although my circumstance did not allow full care for my furry old man they were gladly to inform me of home remedies to help our process to recovery. This has been my vet since moving to Texas, even though I now live in south Austin. They are open 24 hours and always make me feel comfortable with the care my pets receive. There is quite a bit of staff turnover but they ate usually very friendly. Prices are fair but they do try to "up sell" you as v most vets do.

We are a military couple schedule to fly with our pets overseas. We had to fly our dogs in the morning but were denied do to us not having a health certificate for them to board. Fortunately, we were able to go to Austin Vet Care and they did the exam promptly and got us on our way. Without their help we would have missed our rescheduled flight the same afternoon and would have been in a bind

Thanks for saving our baby, Tika, after her snake bite. It's crazy to think that we got so close to not having her with us. We can't thank you enough. The doctors, technicians, and staff were all so wonderful. Thanks for being receptive to all my phone calls and keeping us well informed of the situation as it developed. Every person we encountered at the clinic was very sensitive to our situation and I greatly appreciated the compassion I felt for us as owners and Tika as a patient. I have lived in Austin for nearly 40 years and this was my first experience with this clinic. We had to say good-bye to our 12.5 year old Schnauzer, Beauregard, after dealing with 7 long months of watching him lose his battle to cancer. On Sunday, December 30, 2012, we took Beau on his final car ride to set him free. It was incredibly difficult. The staff at this hospital was the most compassionate, caring, and understanding group of people I have ever seen. We were greeted by a young tech named Amie who was simply phenomenal. Her compassion and caring toward my wife Linda was overwhelming to us both. What a special person she is. The Vet, Dr. April Reeves, was equally wonderful. Linda and I would like to personally thank the staff at Austin Vet Care for making an unbearable situation tolerable. We also offer our heartfelt thanks to Practice Manager, Suzanne Wallace, both for her wonderful professionalism and her incredible training of the staff.
