I feel very fortunate to have found Circle C Animal Hospital. Dr. Rafferty is amazing. I love how he treats my dog and puts her first by getting down on the ground with her and letting her get comfortable with him. He is extremely patient and understanding. I appreciate how he takes the time to answer my questions and makes sure I fully understand what is happening with my dog and the treatment she requires. The staff are also wonderful. From the initial phone call through the end of the visit I always feel like my dog and I are treated well. And, I absolutely love the sign welcoming all the pets coming in for the day...they definitely put pets first.
We took our two kittens there not long after we got him. They said they wouldn't do anything without our consent. Both kittens were diagnosed with conjunctivitis... or a cold. They charged us for $350 in "services rendered". About a week later, I was talking to my neighbor who also just got two kittens... who also got conjunctivitis. Their vet rendered services for a total of $70 (including medication). Circle C Animal Hospital takes advantage of people ignorance about pet medicine to extract the maximum amount of money. One example is that they charged us $50 to "check for ear mites"... without checking with us first (and without the cats scratching their ears). Save your money and take your pets somewhere else.
I've lived in several cities in several states and have gone to multiple vets over the years and have never felt as completely satisfied with my experience as I have with Circle C Animal Hospital. Dr. Rafferty is an intelligent, kind, patient man with a true natural talent in how he communicates with animals, and of course his degree from a world-class veterinary school, A&M, is certainly comforting. :) My husband and I have four cats, two of which are rescues with little-to-no socialization, and he has been able to work with them better than we ever hoped. The technicians who work with him are also impressive in their knowledge, compassion, and handling abilities. I have not had any experience with Dr. Greenville, but I have heard raves about her as well. All of our cats are seniors now, and all have health problems, so we expect to spend a good bit at this practice in the coming years; I can honestly say that I feel happy and secure knowing my "fur babies" will have the absolute best care at Circle C Animal Hospital for years to come, God willing. And please, if/when you visit, make sure to say 'hello' to Homer, the big orange tabby who lives at the hospital. He loves a good scratch under the chin. :)
All of the staff was great. Dr. Greenfield was very patient with me and my nervous-around-everything dog. She took her time with her and gave us great suggestions to get my baby to not be so nervous. Thanks everyone!
On Thursday, Jan. 16 my daughter and I witnessed a little dog get hit on Davis near Beckett. The car that hit the dog and did not stop, others did though! I got out of my car and stopped traffic to pick up the little dog. I at first I thought he was gone but I knew whether he was gone or not I needed to get him to a vet. I was going to take him to my vet Travis Country Vet Hospital but my daughter said it was too far and she remembered Circle C Animal Hospital. We rushed him in and as soon as I told them he had been hit the young ladies at the front desk took him from me and they told me they would look after him and they did! They and all the others that spoke to me and my daughter were wonderful, compassionate and caring! They did all the could do to reassure me that they would do the best they could for him. Dr. Greenville was wonderful! It turned out to be okay, he was only stunned and shakened up. They kept him for awhile to to observe him. And when we went to pick him up they had him up and walking! They even posted on the Facebook about him being brought in and the next day he was reunited with his owner. I will always be gtrateful to Circle C Animal Hospital for all they did for "Jack"(that is his name) and me! Gratefully yours, Sylvia Porras
