We have always received great service from Griffith. The reception staff and techs are on their game - they quickly return your questions and are able to get you in to see a vet quickly should you have an emergency. We see Doctor Nielsen and she has been incredible - she is great with our dog and she is very honest with us about what our dog needs or doesn't need so we don't pay for anything that the pup doesn't need. Prices are reasonable - not outrageous but not super cheap (I mean, is the vet somewhere you really want to cut corners?). My dog is fairly easy to work with but I've seen them expertly handle both nervous animals as well as aggressive ones with ease and without incidence.

We have taken our standard poodle here for 5 years. Dr. Griffith is our primary vet, but we've seen almost everyone here at one time or another. We consistently receive kind, practical, and professional care. I also appreciate that we've been able to call and get quick advice over the phone -- what to watch for if we think the dog ate a chocolate bar, etc. Great service!

Our cat Marley had nerve damage after a terrible accident. Our usual vets weren't able to help him - and told us that there was nothing that could be done for him. That's when we took him to Griffith as a last ditch effort. Dr. Wheeler performed acupuncture on Marley - and his recovery was phenomenal! After his treatment there he was back to his usual happy, playful self. Without the care provided by Dr. Wheeler, Marley would have been doomed to a miserable and painful existence. The fact that Griffith is open to alternative treatments in addition to traditional veterinary medicine shows that they are completely committed to providing the best care possible for their client patients. I highly recommend Dr. Karen Wheeler and Griffith Small Animal Hospital. Without them, our cat would have been doomed.

They take great care of my little Rosie. They respect my desires about cost control and balancing benefits. Always gentle and professional. Haven't needed them for trauma or sickness. (PTL) Just wellness. I love that they can do online scheduling and emails. They have a reasonably priced online pharmacy partner, too, but they don't push it hard. I sometimes use it and sometimes not.

I love Griffith Small Animal Hospital! We've been bringing our pets there for 18 years and with the help of the magnificent Griffith vets they have all lived long and healthy lives. Our 16 year old dog had reached a point where he couldn't walk and after a very thoughtful diagnosis by Dr. Nilson she and Dr. Wheeler, who does acupuncture, found the regimen that has him walking on his own again. The entire staff is always helpful, friendly, and clearly love the animals they help.
