I've been a client of Highland Pet Medical for over 13 years now. Dr. Venghaus and the team there take excellent care of my cats and dog! I'm always impressed by the extra effort they put in to making sure my animals stay healthy and safe.

If you want a vet who knows you and your pet by name. Is efficient. Keeps appointments on time. Squeezes you in when your pet is sick. Than this is the place for you. I highly recommend Highland's Pet Medical Clinic. They are professional and courteous and have your pet's best interest in mind.

I have been a client of Highland's Pet Medical since the early 1990s. The staff is extremely thorough and always beyond kind and loving. The Dr.s Childress and Venghaus are two of the most noted Vets in Austin and their love of animals and animal well-being is inspiring. The appointments are always a joy and that is NOT an easy thing with my wild dogs, but everyone there is so thoughtful and nice. I have had minor to extremely serious conditions with my pets and all have been treated with dignity and proficiency. I am in a family of animal-lovers and we ALL are clients of HP Medical and continue to let people; if you love your pet, then you take them to Highland's.

I've never felt more ripped off. My dog was attacked in a local dog park. He needed stitches so I brought him to the Vet that's closest to my house. Once all stitched up... they called & called asking me multiple times to come back in for a check up. I'm new to the area but any vet I have ever been to.... a check up is already paid for especially if you are being hounded to come back. THEY CHARGED ME to take 2 seconds to look at my dog. $40 something bucks. Then they decided to run tests, swab him, etc. without asking me if I wanted to do any of that. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A VET THAT DOES WHAT THEY WANT TO YOUR PET WITHOUT ASKING AND THEN EXPECTS YOU TO PAY. BIZAAR PRACTICE. WILL NOT RECOMMEND. WILL NOT GO BACK.
