I love this clinic, but if you try to reach them on the phone, it's almost impossible!! I have called many times that they pick up the phone and then hang up on me. Other times they switch me to their fax machine. This has been on multiple days and multiple times. Not sure if they are worth the effort, Apparently they don't want to help animals very much!! If it was an emergency, I guess just show up and don't try to call ahead of time. They are reasonably priced and good vet's, but their office phone people need help!!
I have been taking my animals here for years, and I love it. The staff and dr are completely amazing and caring people.
I switched from the high price vet in Keller to find that Dr. Fields actually studied with one of the best, Dr. Long. In fact, when Dr. Fields is on Holiday... I was surprised to find Dr. Long standing in for him. Awesome vet. Always caters towards the animal... Just wish he still worked on the larger animals (Horses, Cows). Always fairly priced and does not mind good quality Pet Med Websites to order from.
I moved to this area about 11/2 years ago with my new puppy, Tucker. I have Tucker to Eagle Mountain Vet Clinic since that time for shots and meds. On Friday, October 4, Tucker was attacked by another dog, I took him to Eagle Mountain Vet Clinic and was told that his injuries were not life threatening, that an IV would be started with antibiotics and steroids to get him out of shock. I called back two hours later and could hear my dog in the background, (it was a very distinctive sound because of his injuries), when I asked why I could hear my dog, I was told that this was not my dog but another dog??? I was told to call back later to check on him. When I called again I was told that the he was doing much better and was standing up in his kennel. At 4:30 I was told that they were going to keep Tucker over the weekend, but would not do anything for him until Monday. I then returned to the office to see for myself how Tucker was doing. He had lain in that kennel for over 6 hours trying to breathe. He was worse than when I brought him in. He had not even been cleaned up. I was told that I would have to go and buy bandages and wrap him up when I got home. Tucker died two hours later, at home with his family.... Eagle Mountain Vet Clinic takes no responsibility for his death and charged $204.00 for the care that he did not get. Please investigate before taking your animals to this vet!!!
