I have taken my pet in twice & both times I was equally & profoundly disapointed! I am thankful to the vet that worked on my pet even thou I never got to meet them cause they never came out to talk to me. Just recieved a phone call saying that my pet did just fine& for that I give them 2 stars! They just weren't knowledgable towards the questions I asked after the procedure they did for my pet.(which was a spay) and they were not courteous to me over the phone. they kept putting me on hold and when I finally spoke to someone, she was very impatient with me and she made me feel stupid for asking questions, when I called them about my concerns they were clueless. I got more answers from online then I did from these people. I'd rather drive all the way to austin next time, than to take my pet there again! Some Ladies that work there are good, some not so good or nice. Please work on your customer service if you wish to keep your customers loyal&happy. just saying...

My & my son's dogs are all treated/maintained at Crossroads. I have been very pleased with the care given, particularly by Dr. Haley. He is very thorough with his examinations and takes the time needed to explain everything in person and on the phone. He referred my son's dog to an excellent specialist due to its needing knee surgery. My previous vet's office staff speak highly of him, so between that and my personal experience with him, I plan on sticking with him as long as I'm living in Bastrop County.

For the most part I have had a good experience at Crossroads Animal Hospital. They have taken good care of my dogs and other animals. But last time was different! I took my dog in to Crossroads, it had been hurt in an accident. They rushed him into an evaluation room. After about an half hour they said he will be Ok, but needed surgery to sew up his cuts and needed extended care and wanted him to stay a few days. I checked on him Fridays and they said he was doing great. Late Sunday night I got a call from Crossroads telling me my dog is nearly dead. I did not sleep all night and rushed in the morning. My dog was in a coma. I asked what happened. All they said his wounds got infected. I asked how did this happen. No one would tell me. I kept asking over and over again how did this happen. Finally after an hour someone came forward and told me the truth. They do not monitor or keep anyone on staff at night or the weekends. My dog was locked in a cage with an IV for two days all alone. Some time during those two days my dog got its E-Collar off and tore open its wounds and eat a hole into its gut. So much for extended care, did they do some wrong? They do not say they have a 24 hour or weekend staff. But they don’t say everyone goes home after business hours. Leave your pet at you own risk. Could this of happen at home, yes. But if I knew the facts I could have made the decision. I would have never left my dog locked in a cage unattended for two days inured. All I got was were sorry this happened, your bill is 1500 and we might be able to save your dog with another 2500 dollars and you need to leave it for two weeks. Not having the 2500 my dog died. I just hope this story makes people aware they need to ask important questions when leaving your animal with a vet.

I've been using this clinic for 15 years. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats, and take in rescue dogs and cats. Crossroads has always been compasionate and professional. I highly recomend them.
