I'm so glad I found this place. The Drs are awesome - very caring about your animal and about helping you save money. I like the minimal approach - most vets spend a fortune on clinic furnishings and you end up paying for it. All the basic shots are a fraction of the cost of any other veterinary clinic.
Dr Mace and her staff are just amazing.. she has been our vet for the last year and I would recommend VetSavers to everyone... Our two little girls both had major surgery... a week apart this past month ...both conditions diagnosed & surgeries performed by Dr. Mace. Peanut (13yr old calico long hair cat) had a cancer tumor removed and is doing great and Kori (9yr old Cavalier King Charles Spainel with Heart Murmur) had 2 bad back molar teeth removed. Kori was high risk due to her heart and Dr Mace did additional research regarding the best anethesia to increase her chances of surviving the surgery and Kori made it and she is ok!! I love VetSavers & Dr. Mace and I know my girls are getting the best vet care possible with the added bonus of not paying high "overhead" corporate vet costs..
Dr. Mace and her crew are the best! We brought our little dog in for treatment and they took such great care of her and of my family during the process. They are a fantastic group dedicated to providing the highest quality care possible while keeping the prices reasonable. Dr. Mace discussed and weighed all possible options for care including going to another speciality clinic when it became time. While our beloved Bailey did not make it, we are forever greatful for the love, compassion and understanding that we found at VetSavers!
Came in for a second opinion on my 10yr old dog's diagnosis of a heart murmur by Hillside Veterinary Clinic (Dallas). Although we didn't have a bad experience at Hillside, we paid exorbitant fees and left not much more informed other than to immediately put our dog on 3 medications or to consider euthanasia. So we felt like we needed to go to a better vet for our aging dog's condition to be properly monitored & treated, who actually were concerned and would follow up with us. We had several instances where Hillside did not return our calls or a vet was unavailable to answer questions when we would come in for med refills unless we made an appointment. Heard of Vetsavers by word of mouth through a friend who uses them. I had heard many good things about Dr Mace but we saw Dr Stillie who fit us in the SAME DAY! He confirmed the heart condition & was amazingly detailed over things of his condition I didn't know, medications & easily explained their purposes and calmed us by saying that the original med regimen was appropriate. We were also astounded to learn of 2 additional problems with my dog that the Hillside vet never mentioned that had to be immediately treated. I also loved that their "lab/back room" is entirely visible through glass from the lobby or from the exam rooms. While waiting for the dr to look at an infection under a microscope, I literally could see him doing that through the glass from our exam room. I was thrilled with my visit and made me feel like we couldn't wait to come back to see the dr. I think my only complaint was that although our first visit was free, the costs of what we were walking out to pay were not made clear. I did want to note that the vet did ask our approval for a $35 scientology (microscope) fee that ended up being $48 on the final invoice. Front desk said the vet wasn't correct in quoting me that price and wouldn't change it. Also I had no idea the final bill with ear cleanser and antibiotics it would cost $152! All in all, the prices were quite reasonable so I suggest before agreeing to the vet's "plan of action", make sure you question the vet if fits in your plan of budget!!! Ask for the cost tally before you walk out of the examination room! Frankly I think it would really set Vetsavers apart if they talk about treatment budgeting since this is what they specifically promote of themselves.
I highly recommend VetSavers Pet Hospital for your fluffy friends. Dr. Mace is very honest, caring, professional and knowledgeable. Also, everyone who works there is passionate, friendly, and funny as well :) if you are looking for an animal clinic that provides the high quality service with affordable price, this is the perfect place for you. i used to take my dogs to a different animal clinic on preston road(i'd rather not mention the name of the place) and i didn't like how they always took my dogs to somewhere i couldn't see and did all the shots and treatments. i think it's really shady and i believe there's a possibility that my dogs could've been mistreated, however, Dr. Mace did everything in the exam room. i had a great experience here and plan to go back for my dogs' annual checkups.
