Been coming here for around 10 years now. I have always found this group of vets to be compassionate and professional. Additionally, they claim that they will match internet prices on medications and other necessities. I am confident that my animals are receiving top care at Tara Animal Hospital.

My Name is Bella Turner and I'm a Maltese I was taken for my vaccines on June 14th and died from them June 29th. Dr Woods said it would be fine and it wasn't. I am only 9 lbs Maltese and my Parents have search the web for reason why this has happen, they have found that if you give the vaccines leptorspira and to many vaccines at once this can kill smaller dogs and sometimes it can kill big breeds too. They also give small dogs the same dose of vaccines to the smaller dogs too. I want to spread the word so this doesn't happen to other dogs or cats. I was perfectly healthy until I got my vaccines and my Parents are heart broken and once you get these vaccines they give you a 50/50 chance to survive. Please go to my facebook page and look at the video about vaccines for smaller breeds. I want to save other dogs and cats lives. DONT LET THESE VETS OVER VACCINE US BECAUSE OF GREED........If you get vaccinated and this happens please go to the animal emergency place in Grapevine as soon as possible, your dog or cat will have a fever and look at the gums to see if they are pale. The sooner you go the better your chances are.

I first found Tara Animal Hospital 14 years ago after another local vet removed a cyst on my dog, Ubu. He was not healing and I was not happy with the other vet. A co-worker recommended Tara, so I took Ubu there and have taken all my dogs there ever since. They got Ubu healed then and loving cared for him all the rest of his days. We've had to make some tough decisions over the years. Tara always makes sure you know the cost and all your options and will support you in your decision. Thank God for such a great animal hospital with wonderful veterinary doctors!

I have taken all my pets here for over ten years. Personally I believe that Dr. Pena is the best veterinarian in North Texas. She is caring, considerate, and extremely intelligent. She is so comfortable in her field and has always handled all of my animals with great care. I even work at a Veterinary Office and despite the discount I would get there, I choose to go to Tara Animal Hospital because of their excellent service. The only thing they are less strong at is pocket pets and exotics...but if you have a dog or cat you should definitely go see the doctors at Tara! (Texas A&M education beats all!)
