This was my first time at this clinic as I moved here from Central Texas a couple of month ago. My dog is prone to ear infections and needed to be seen for medication. My appointment was at 10:20am and I was told to arrive 5 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I arrived on time and was seated in their waiting room. Their waiting room is quite small with two doors and it is almost impossible to keep all the animals seperated. One gentlemen came in with his dog on a loose leash and his dog attacked mine but was pulled away quickly with no injuries. After waiting an entire hour after my appointment time I was taken back. The vet tech and doctor were very friendly and quick. I received my medicine and was out the door. The payment was lower than what I expected. The only reason I am giving this clinic low stars is the wait time. I asked another girl waiting if it was normal to wait so long and she said yes and that she had waited hours before, but she thought the doctors were worth it. I on the other hand, do not always have time to wait on the vets dime and will not be going back. I expect that if I make an appointment that I should be seen no longer than 20 minutes after the apointment time unless there has been an emergency, not on a normal basis. I would not be able to show up and waste time if I had to leave. I received a recommendation this vet clinic from a local dog group and looking at the reviews here, but not one person mentioned the wait times.

I have been coming to Doddridge Animal Clinic for 30 years. They have cared for many pets through out their life span. They treat my pets as family. When I have a loss, they grieve with me. When we have a new addition, they celebrate with me. You don't find this type of care in just any vet clinic. All the staff work together to optimize the health of my pets and they are willing to go the extra step to provide the very best.

I have dogs and cats that are patients of Doddridge. I am very pleased with the care my pets are given. Dr. Rasco and Dr. Harper are tops in my book. They not only care about my pets, they are very knowledgeable about all problems that arise. The staff is always willing to help in any way and they are always very pleasant and understanding. The fees are very reasonable and that's a big plus. Thank you from me and all my pets.

My name is Bob and I am the KIA Manager at Mike Shaw KIA. The folks at Doddridge have helped us out a couple of times and they are awesome. A neighbor cat has adopted the store his name is Garfield. He had gotten another neighbor cat pregnant she had kittens under our construction trailer being used for our remodeling. The clinic graciously looked at Mom and Kittens who became known as the KIA Kittens, gave them all a clean bill of health. Kittens and Mom have all gone to wonderful homes. Garfield did get into a scrap with another cat and the old guy did not fair well. The wonderful folks at Doddridge took wonderful care of Garfield. He is safe, healthy, with new shots, and we also had Garfield fixed so no more little surprises! My wife and I are proud to use Doddridge or our Dog Glitzy. Wonderful staff, it's all about your pet. Go see them they are wonderful!!!
