This place is great and by far the most available option I've ever encountered. We board our two big dogs here each time we have to leave town and they always come back happy and healthy. At $12 a day per dog, you really can't beat it!

We have taken our Golden Doodle - Molly - to Jane and her team at Cypress Boarding Kennels a few times to date and each time we are very pleased and more than satisfied. We've been encouraged to phone them while away to check to check on Molly and she's always a happy and clean dog when we return to pick her up. Can't beat the price and friendly family service. Good job Jane!

I have boarded my dog there for close to 2 years. The kennel manager, Peter, is no longer there (effective summer 2009) and it's run by the owner, Jane and her daughter. They are wonderful and love what they do! They are dog breeders and take excellent care of the animals. Please try them for the first time or give them another chance! The place may look a bit run down, but they are good at what they do! My dog recently became sick while she was at Cypress Kennels (something she ate at home became a problem when she was boarded several days later, not anything they fed her!). Jane called me on my trip, and took her to her own vet which saved my dog's life. Jane followed up every day with an update and even after we returned. First class service!

My parents and I boarded their cat here, they are local and very near my house, so we felt good about it. They were only out of town for a long weekend, but had to return to a disaster. The poor cat, Molly, who only lays and sleeps was a nervous wreak and had huge wounds up and down her back. There were several spots where fur and skin had been scrapped away. It was apparent by the look of the wounds, this probably happened as she was being yanked in and out of her kennel. She was very nervous and scared when she came home and was a different cat afterward, and would lash out when startled. I have to say I agree with the other comment, the owner is a lush. I thought at the time we dropped off he struck me as an odd duck and seemed "on something". Pet-Owner BEWARE!!!

I have a boxer that I have sent to Jane since summer of 2009 when he was only four months. I have always been happy with their level of service and care - even on longer trips.
