Dr.Egan and staff are Wonderful! My dog was really sick and although we had never taken him there, they helped us immediately! They gave the best care any one could ask for. Unfortunately we lost our dog but we couldn't have asked for a better place to have to deal with such an awful situation. Best place in the world for your animals!

I've been taking my dogs to see the Drs at Lone Star for years with great results! Dr. Eagan guided my young daughters through the joys of owning a puppy. Thanks to her care, their puppy lived a full and active 15 years. Dr. Glorio correctly diagnosed a serious heart condition in my Pom mix. A visit to A & M confirmed his diagnosis and the seriousness of my dog's condition. And Dr. Stark spent lots of time with me when I rescued a poodle. I needed sound advice and she gave it. On the sad day that a dear friend won't be going home again, all of the staff at Lone Star share a tear and kind word. It's comforting to know that everything has been done for your treasured friend. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been taking my dog here since she was a puppy. Every single time I bring her in, i am always amazed as to how friendly, helpful and knowledgeable the entire staff is. Hands down the best vet around!

I had a similar experience with a sick dog. My dog was very ill, reaction to a heartworm preventative. I was desparate to get him to someone. I was new to the area and this vet had come highly recommended, but when I called with my problem, I was not an existing customer and they would not see us. I ended up taking him to Glenwood Falls, and received SUPERIOR care. His life was saved due to the willingness of a great vet willing to see him and treat him. Isn't that what they are in the business for?

I'm not sure what happened with the previous person, but I've been with Dr. Mary Egan for years. Maybe she was dealing with too many animals at that time. She is very kind and caring...extremely personable, which can be hard to find in a vet. She operated on and helped me with my boxer as we went down the "cancer" road, and she hugged me when I cried because we finally had to put her down. I have 3 dogs now and they see her regularly. We are happy.
