Zero Stars. Our 2 year old Golden Retriever was barely breathing. At 7am, I dropped him off at Banfield, told them he got under the house and either ate something or got bit. I wrote down details and asked them to pull blood, do tests, whatever they thought was best. At 1pm, I called and they said the doctor was out. At 4pm, I called again and they had done nothing. They pulled blood after I told the nurse to read the chart. Then they said our dog might have hip displacia, gave us pain meds and sent us home. At 6:45pm, my wife drove back up and asked them to do a chest xray. Immediately they freak out, our dogs lungs are filled with liquid. They put the xray on a disk and send us to an emergency room pet clinic. We gave the disk to the doctor, who installed the disk and it showed no xrays on the file. The doc said this wasn't the first time Banfield had done this. So the Emergency room had to do new xrays and more blood work. Our dog had ate rat poisoning and had to stay at the hospital 24 hours. The dog had sat at Banfield all day with no one doing anything. When my wife went back to Banfield a week later to try to get them to drop the xray charges, they would not do it and said they wouldn't apologize and had done nothing wrong. We spent 500.00 at Banfield and this is the treatment we got. True Story, Never going back.
I came to this banfield to get some information and the young lady at the front did not smile at all. She made very little eye contact and it just felt awkward being there. I don't know if all the receptionist are the same here but the one who helped me made me not want to come back. I expected more friendly service. If you are a receptionist you should smile and be inviting not awkward. I don't remember her name, I just remember it stated with a W.
Very upset that I called before closing and was redirected to the after hours voicemail. Even now, my review has been submitted before they closed.
I have been taking my two huskies to this location since I moved to Dallas over 4 years ago and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they treat my fur babies. Dr. Atwood is by far the best vet I have ever been to. My female is normally very scared and timid around vets due to a previous bad experience, but she practically jumps in Dr. Atwood's lap, licks her to death, and cries with excitement everytime she sees her. She also tries to jump over the counter to get to the vet techs who greet her with a smile and scratch on the head. Thank you for the love and care you show my babies!!! Sincerely, Sephora and Havoc's mom :-)
