I heard about Katy Trail Animal Hospital from a friend. It is the best place to take your pet. Staff is friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I had my dogs teeth cleaned without anesthesia, which is much better for your pets. I would not go anywhere else.

Awesome place. Busy on Saturday so had a bit of a wait but it was worth it. Got lots of good advice on diet and health and supplements from Dr. Johnson. I wasn't pressured to buy one heartworm preventive over another but was helped to make the best choice to meet my dog's needs. I was given suggestions on how to lower the cost of the meds, even if that meant buying products from someplace other than the vet clinic. All of my questions were answered. The front desk has treats for humans as well as for dogs. Bonus: since my dog is a rescue, his physical exam fee was waived for this first visit. I only had to pay for a parasite test and the heartworm med.

This was the worst experience I ever had. Nice people but I have 3 dogs and took them all in for their annual checkups.All of them had blood work and it cost $1000 without any meds or flea treatment.The next month I received an e mail requesting me to return for one of my dog's rabies vaccine.I took great care to send all their records before the appt and was surprised that this was not done at the time so to say I was surprised was an understatement.I rang them and expressed my dissatisfaction only to be told something that I found to be irrelevant-they expected me to bring him back again. Really?I changed vets and found out after all the blood work I had done,one of my dogs also did not receive a heartworm test. Are you kidding me?

Colleen Murray has been my vet for over 20 years. She is, by far, the most incredible, experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, and caring vet I could ever ask for my pets. I trust every member of her team. Colleen has attracted the best of the best in all the same areas of her strengths. Along with the members of her team, I cannot praise Colleen Murray more as professionals caring for my pets and as people. When they see my pet, they also see me. Run, don't walk, your babies to be cared for by Katy Trail Animal Hospital.

Dr. Gretchen Wright is a fantastic vet! I will not take my animals anywhere else. She has a wonderful bedside manner and was incredibly responsive and empathetic during our elderly dogs illness which ultimately led to euthanasia. The staff was equally as understanding and made an incredibly difficult process as humane and positive as it could possibly be for both our dog and family. I would highly recommend them for any veterinary need!
