By far the worst animal "hospital" available. Do your animal and yourself a favor and stay far away. They were unable to help me with a sick cat that was vomiting daily. After changing his food like the vet recommended and the problem still occurring they are still maintaining the thought that it's the food and are not willing to help this poor cat.

DAH has been my family vet for the last 1 1/2 years. The office staff is always so nice and Dr. Scott is very friendly and patient with my energetic dog. The old adage 'you get what you pay for' holds true for this veterinary office. The level of care is not inexpensive, however, it is high quality and I feel that my dog and cat are in great hands. I highly recommend these guys!

Our pets are our children and nothing is too good for them. We've been going to DAH for 4 years. We've seen all of the vets, including the owner, Dr. Kettler, and without hesitation, Dr. Honeycutt is the hands-down BEST vet we've ever had (in over 40 years of taking our babies to vets). Her bedside manner is bar none and you won't find her level of sincere kindness anywhere else. Yes, DAH is extremely expensive, so if you're looking for cheap medical care for your babies, go elsewhere because you get what you pay for in all things. If you're looking for the best care possible and money is secondary to you, you're in great hands and the right place. Dr. Kettler has operated on most of our babies, from spay/neuter to exploratory surgery on a 16 year old cat (she made it! and lived another 2.5 years because of it!). If you need surgery on your babies, don't hesitate to let him do it. The hospital is amazing. It's probably the most complete medical facility within 100 miles. You must understand that you cannot receive the level of care provided by DAH, what with all the equipment, testing, and diagnosing ability they have, without paying a little more. This rapid response diagnostic ability saved my cat's life several times and I'm fine with paying for that level of excellence. The front office staff is very busy but they are NOT rude. I can't imagine them being any nicer to anyone. They are very polite and always do as requested. They're also very nice people if you get to know them. If you aren't happy with the fees or the manner of payment, it's not their doing - they're only doing their jobs. Talk to Dr. Kettler about money issues, not the front office staff. No review would be complete without addressing the nurses and kennel staff. The nurses really do go out of their way to make sure you understand what the vet has recommended. They are very busy but that doesn't mean they aren't caring and knowledgeable. The kennel staff are wonderful. We would not feel right going on vacation unless they took care of our babies (including our parrots!). We can relax and know our kids are treated like royalty. And that means a lot because without that service, we would never leave them, meaning we'd never take a vacation! We've visited two other vet clinics in Alvin and I have to say, they were not exactly comparable to DAH. That would be like comparing a swap-meet to shopping at Lord & Taylor in New York City.

Dr Honeycutt absolute worst vet I have ever met! DONT GO THERE!!! I over herd her talking to a staff member and she was so awful I could'nt believe what I was hearing!!!!! Any place that allows vets to talk to their staff like that is one that does not work well together. My dog is my baby and when I leave him there I want to know he is well taken care of. With vets like Honeycutt treating staff like dirt I can only wonder how my dog is being treated. Most vets and staff are nice to your face but what happens behind closed doors is what really counts. Also when I picked up my dog, I over herd another vet yelling at another staff member and was over charged!!!! I am NEVER bring my pet there again!!!!
